I taught developmental math and college math at area college and universities. I served as math lab coordinator at Austin Peay State University for two years. I have worked as a test prep coach since 1997, prepare students for 17 different standardized exams. All these exams have a math section, so I tutor math, including geometry, on a regular basis. There truly is a way to understand and learn the formulas for area and volume. I'm great at explaining the basic concepts of geometry in multiple ways, so students can fully grasp the concepts.
