Geometry uses all of your pre-algebra and algebra skills, and adds new facts about lines, angles, and regular shapes in both two and three dimensions. It also includes knowing and applying trigonometric relationships and the Pythagorean Theorum. That's the math part. In addition, there are the proofs. This is the logic part. Students either love or hate proofs; usually there's no middle ground! Proofs require that you be a math lawyer, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the statement made at the start is guilty of being true [more]

My approach is to start with the basics and work with real examples. I also help determine the best methods to learning as each student is different and each has a unique mindset to learning.
