I have no problem stating that geometry was a bit tough when I was taking the material but that helps me to see areas where students might struggle. Additionally, I have taught geometry for 3 years and tutored for nearly 10+ and love to get students to understand a topic I struggled with in high school. Geometry is AWESOME! I earned a degree in Mathematics and a Masters in Teaching in Secondary Education from Trinity University, have taught math in both middle and high school, and have been tutoring for nearly 15 years. But after 16 years, I found that fun and the challenge were gone. So I decided to try my hand at teaching and I've never been sorry. I have spent the last 10 years tutoring in Colorado, for a commercial tutoring operation. I have worked with students from age 6 to age 36, in all levels of math, physics, and test prep. Family concerns have recently brou... [more]
