I'm Tim, a senior Chemistry student at Virginia Tech. I graduated from Ocean Lakes High School's Math and Science Academy with an advanced studies diploma. In high school, I was fortunate to have academy teachers who cared significantly for the understanding and success of their students. I work to emulate that approach in my own teaching, be it helping friends with homework or running test review sessions in my residence hall. I try to model teaching as an open dialogue rather than a lectur... [more]

I have been a private tutor ever since. My experience as a private tutor includes several years working for Kaplan Test Prep as an SAT/ACT tutor, and ov [more]
