Now this is an odd course. The students I have had for this course varied the most. From good math students to awful ones, the memorization was never an issue, it was the proofs that always gave problems. Even back when I took the course, the past math grades were varied with the students that did well or did not. In retrospect, this course is the first of its kind and that had the ability to throw students. All of math before seems to prepare a student for Algebra, but Geometry is a side step from Algebra. The entire course of Geometry can be constructed to not require a single numeric [more]

I absolutely love math, and thoroughly enjoy tutoring the subject. Mathematics is a subject that many people need help with, because it is so different from other subjects, and is very abstract. With more explanation, and practical examples it can be understood far mor [more]

You?ll use and understand concepts such as symmetry, congruency, similarity, scale, perspective, and angles to describe and analyze two- and three-dimensional shapes found in practical applications. You?ll study the properties and relationships of points, lines, angles, curves, surfaces and solids. Also you'll begin to acquire some insight into postulates and proofs. Congratulations on your decision to understand a subject that isn?t easy. When I was in my first years of college I found the professors were talking way over my head. In tutors I found people who weren?t as intimidating as a profe [more]
