Patient and Motivating Math/SAT/Writing Tutor

Hi everyone, my name is Brian. If you are considering Math subject tutoring, SAT tutoring or Writing tutoring, look no further! I'm a graduate of Boston College, and Math and Writing have always been my strongest academic subjects. I want to sit down and work with students to look at what is giving them problems either with academic subjects such as Math or Writing, or with the SAT. No more worrying about those classes and tests in school, and increased readiness and decreased anxiety for the... [more]

Business, standardized testing (SAT, GMAT) & statistics tutor

Due to my pursuit of 3 master's degrees over a 15 year period I have had to take the GMAT exam 3 times. I have never scored below 720, being consistently in the 95th percentile or better in the quantitative sections, and 99th percentile in the verbal and writing sections. I have never spent a dime or one minute studying or preparing for any standardized test in my life. I do not know of, nor do I use or teach, "tricks" to taking these tests. I know these tests can be mastered through the development of critical thinking and a solid grounding in the basics of the subjects involved. [more]

Stanford Grad Tutoring in Math

I recently graduated from a master's program at Stanford University for computational math! I have been privately tutoring math since high school. I worked in a math tutoring center for a year and was an on campus tutor last year. I?ve tutored students from kindergarten to college. I have loved math since I was in elementary school, which is why I decided to major in it. I feel happy when I am able to help someone else understand math. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questi... [more]
