Standardized tests seem to be one of my natural abilities. I scored in the 99% my first time taking the official GMAT, GRE and LSAT and I've scored perfect on subsequent exams. I enjoy taking exams (I know that sounds weird), and I enjoy helping others do the same.... [more]

I want to sit down and work with students to look at what is giving them problems either with Math subjects in school or with the SAT. No more worrying about those Math classes and tests in school, and no anxiety for the SAT! If you need to address problems with Pre-algebra, Algebra, or any oth... [more]

My love for tutoring stems from my love for people. I love seeing people succeed and flourish, and tutoring is a way I can help coach individuals through their problems so they can bring themselves to a place of high academic and personal success. I am so thankful to be able to tutor because it means that I will get to work collaboratively with my students: drawing on their prior knowledge, asking them to flesh out their thoughts and processes, and differentiating instruction to them as based... Due to my pursuit of 3 master's degrees over a 15 year period I have had to take the GMAT exam 3 times. I have never scored below 720, being consistently in the 95th percentile or better in the quantitative sections, and 99th percentile in the verbal and writing sections. I have never spent a dime or one minute studying or preparing for any standardized test in my life. I do not know of, nor do I use or teach, "tricks" to taking these tests. I know these tests can be mastered through the development of critical thinking and a solid grounding in the basics of the subjects involved. [more]

This work has included teaching basic language and grammar, persuasive writing, reading comprehension, legal writing, public speaking, and working with ESL students. I feel that... [more]

I am currently in the Higher Education Master's program at UPenn. In Spring 2015, I graduated from Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Chinese Language and Culture. I have always been captivated by learning and teaching, and have always stood by the notion that you don't really understand something until you are able to teach it to others. It is this principle which has always guided me in learning concepts thoroughly, and teaching them with patience, creativity, and t... [more]

I'm a professional statistician with years of tutoring experience. When I was a grad student at University of Virginia, I TA'ed for a large business statistics course and always loved helping students understand the material. Tutoring is fast-paced, and one of the greatest feelings is seeing someone understand a difficult concept for the first time. Prior to that, I received a BS with Honors in Mathematics and Statistics from University at Albany in 2010. Since 2012 I've worked as a stati... [more]
