I have over ten years of experience teaching and coaching for different organizations, colleges and universities. I have helped administer a tutoring program in St. Louis. I have had success in helping students with whom others were unable to achieve improvement. I get excited when I see students learn to love learning (especially math and literature). I began attending college when I was 15 years. I scored high enough on my ACT/SAT exams to earn a full tuition scholarship. I graduated from ... [more]

The quantitative portion of GMAT involves math (arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and word problems. If it has been a while since you learned this material, it only requires review of the covered areas. I am an expert at this and have the needed material at hand. This same review is done for CBEST (as well as ACT and SAT if required.) The geometry is very basic plus no trig or calculus is required. The data sufficiency portion is found in no other test, so I teach the approaches and techniques needed, along with giving you quizzes and tests until you have the confidence to do well here. My name is Ljiljana and I am a math professor with an extensive teaching/tutoring experience. I explore different teaching methods to help my students succeed in math and school in general. My tutoring lately is focused on SAT preparation, and pre-calculus classes, however I am open to all math levels tutoring. Hi Students, I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from UC Davis and I earned my MBA in Finance at CSU Hayward (East Bay). While I was at UC Davis, I placed 2nd in the Undergraduate Mathematics Exam and represented UC Davis in both the Putnam International Mathematics Competition and in the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) Western Regional programming competition. While I love working as a consultant (more on that in a subsequent paragraph), I also really enjoy math and ha... [more]

The GMAT can be challenging even for highly successful students, because it is a demanding test. Not only does it cover four discrete content areas, but it includes math many students haven't seen or worked on in six years or longer. I have the expertise and experience to guide students in all areas of this test, including the essay. My goal is to teach my students *how* to learn so they no longer need to rely on me. In addition to three Clear California Teaching Credentials (Math, English, and Multiple Subject), I have many years of experience as a teacher. My primary love is language, but I [more]

With me you can learn to master the basics, then b... [more]

I have been tutoring all levels of math for over 7 years now. I really enjoy math as a subject, and try to impart the fundamental concepts of math rather than trying to just teach the algorithms. Math really should be about understanding the logic behind it and less about route processes (we have computers for that). A bit about me. I currently do tutoring and statistical consulting full time. I worked at a Fortune 500 tech company for almost 2 years (doing math and statistics) but really e... [more]

I scored a 720 on the GMAT exam, 96% nationally. It's all about knowing how to tackle the test, and working on some weaknesses you may have. With some practice, you'll be boosting your score in no time! I've tutored for approximately 12 years, both private and after-school programs. I did my undergraduate studies at Northwestern University. I received two degrees: one in Music (Vocal Performance specialization) and the other in Economics. After my undergraduate studies, I have worked in business world for 6 years, 2 years as a financial analyst for a Fortune 10 Company, and 4 years in sales/ma [more]
