I've worked with a student in the math portions of the GMAT. Because the math is algebra and geometry concepts, I'm very familiar with the content. The questions have some similarity to the SAT, but the preparation is a bit different. There is much more emphasis on basic facts on the GMAT, but the questions are a bit more tricky on the GMAT than on the SAT. I started my work out of college as a middle school teacher.
