I am currently a full-time GED teacher and I have a very high completion rate (usually a student gets their GED in 2-3 months). I work with minors and adults who have dropped out at eighth or ninth grade. I give them tips for taking tests and show them tricks to learn the material faster. I am positive and I create a learning environment that encourages students to learn. I have taken students from not being able to read all the way through their GED and into college classes.... I have scored a 760/800; my score is in the 99th percentile. I have taught GMAT, both in classrooms and online, for about 2 years. While I have been a tutor all my adult life, I have specialized in GMAT tutoring since 2012. This focus has honed my expertise both as a subject matter expert and as a personal academic coach! I not only get to work with math, but help others become better math students. What I enjoy most, is seeing the transformation from a student who "hates math" to a student that is genuinely excited about and eager to learn math. Over the past twelve years, I have not only gained an extensive knowledge in math, but, more importantly, have worked with a wide varie... [more]
