Seeing a student succeed is the best part about being a tutor. I have helped many students earn higher grades and better test scores than they ever thought possible. My method of teaching is geared towards complete comprehension and mastery of a topic; I will ensure that your student can work out test problems and employ critical thinking skills on their own. Every student has the potential to succeed in any subject; I am only here to fill in the gaps of knowledge and show them that learning ... [more]

The GMAT is such an interesting and challenging test. Time is highly restricted and since it is a computer adaptive test, the test taker cannot move on to the next question until an answer has not been submitted. It is a matter of time management and a strategic approach to questions. Math knowledge for the quantitative section, in which I can help, is not expected to be no higher than High School level. Reasoning and logic will help you get to the other side. I successfully completed this test when applying to a top Business School, USC. [more]

This allows for my students to handle those really difficult problems where they have to not just recite what was learned, but us... [more]

I love math. I truly do. Since as long as I can remember, I've always found it fascinating, interesting, and highly rewarding. But what I love even more than ripping through a problem set is sharing my passion for math with ambitious students. I've been teaching math to other students ever since I was in middle school. Throughout my academic and professional life, I have continuously set time aside to help kids understand all sorts of math concepts. Why? Because math is a subject mat... [more]
