I took the GRE during my final year of my undergraduate and scored above the 90 percentile across all test sections. I can help improve your score in for both the math, the English and even the essay portion of the exam. I have an undergraduate degree from CSU Fullerton in Mathematics and Statistics with a Finance Cognate. Most of the tutoring I have provided for this subject has been focused on the quantitative reasoning portion of the GRE. To that end, my role is usually that of a strict coach, monitoring them doing their mental sit-ups and push-ups. I find most students are weakest in their comprehension of those topics covered in the quantitative reasoning section. Their majors of university s [more]

Forty years of teaching Mathematics in High Schools, public and private, foreign and domestic, traditional and alternative, magnet and remedial, have provided me with many experiences to learn three basic principles for teaching and tutoring. The first is that the primary information that a teacher needs to know is what it is that the learner needs to learn. The second is that every lesson must be a success for the student. And the third is that the lesson must start at the level of the stud... [more]

I have been helping people prepare for the GRE since 2013. I myself took the GRE that year and scored in the 98th and 99th percentiles for English and Math respectively. Having relatively recently taken the test, and having taught it for several years now, I am confident that I would be able to help anyone with feeling comfortable and prepared for the test. I graduated with high honors from UC Merced in 2013 after only three years, and I graduated from CSU Fresno with an MS, also with honors. I've been tutoring since 2012, first at the Bali Learning Center in Merced (until Fall 2015), then pri [more]
