I've been playing guitar for over 30 years - mostly blues-based styles (blues, rock'n'roll, reggae, etc.). I can play (and help a student learn) almost anything I hear that isn't super complex. Math, ballroom dancing and ki ho' alu tutoring available.

I can teach the basics of Ki hoalu (slack key) style of guitar playing. This is the old style Hawaiian guitar playing. You will learn how to read tabs and maybe a few different tunings. I have worked at Kalani High School, Aiea Intermediate and Waipahu High School. I have taught 7th grade math up to Algebra III and Trigonometry. My favorite math subject is Geometry. I can also tutor in ballroom dancing, or ki ho alu. I have been playing ki ho alu for 14 years and I am still learning more. I have been ballroom dancing for 8 years. I have taught mathematics for over 20 years.... [more]
