Online Tutor for Latin, English, IELTS test prep

I am a cum laude graduate of New St. Andrews College, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Education. This college is one of the few colleges in the US that offers a Great Books program, requiring students to read and evaluate many of the most important texts which comprise the canon of Western literature. After college, I spent two years teaching Latin to grades 7-10 at Logos School, a classical K-12 school. I also have a TESOL teaching certificate through Oxford TEFL, and hav... [more]

Helpful ESL and Spanish Tutor

I graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Visual Journalism and a BA in Linguistics. I also minored in Spanish, Latin, and got my certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, which includes face-to-face tutoring and teaching time with EFL students. I've prepared and taught lesson plans, and helped students one-on-one with pronunciation, spelling, vocabulary, and reading. I've taught English internationally in Mexico to adult speakers. From my studies ... [more]

I have had two years of college Latin. I have tutored privately, going through 30 chapters of Wheelock with one student. I have also begun to create a Latin club at two high schools. Fun and Energetic Lover of Learning!

I earned a perfect score on the National Latin Exam. I tutored my peers in first- and second-year Latin, and I studied Latin at the 300-level. Eam linguam amo, et eam amabis quoque! (I love this language and you will like it, too!) Hello! This experience will be about you, not about me, but I'll tell you a bit about myself so that you can determine whether we'll be a good match on this "learn-ey" (that's "learning journey")! I was born and raised in Seattle, where I attended public school in the accelerated program for students who achieve in the top one percent, followed by Lakeside School. [more]

Dr. Greg's Multi-Subject Tutoring!

I have many years' experience as a teacher and tutor. My five college degrees are in several different disciplines, and all are a result of my love of learning and of helping others to develop that same love in themselves. Tutoring is in many ways the ideal situation for a student, because the tutor is able to tailor the curriculum precisely to the student's own particular needs. The first important thing about taking on a new student is the discovery not just of the student's (and, prob... [more]

An A+ Educator you can rely on for results

Latin, like any other language, is most easily mastered when the student has anchors in their memory as to the proper usage of words.
