I have a math minor. I have taken linear algebra, differential equations, probability, logic, and calculus, as well as lower-level courses including pre-calculus, trigonometry, and algebra. I have six years of teaching experience in undergraduate chemistry, including TA experience, one-on-one tutoring, and as an instructor at UNM (2016) and CNM (2016-present). My basic philosophy in teaching is to encourage students to ask questions, especially in the sciences. I enjoy teaching groups of students but feel that I connect even better in one-on-one sessions where instructor/student dialogue is mo [more]

I have a masters degree in math and took courses in linear algebra at undergraduate and graduate level. I can teach at the introductory level: matrices, determinants, solution of systems of linear equations. I can also cover advanced topics: basis, vector spaces, Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization, eigenvalues, eigenvectors, and numerical methods. A few years ago I taught a linear algebra refresher course for engineers as a prerequisite for a course in quantum computing. I started tutoring when I was a graduate student in mathematics at the University of Michigan. I tutored on an individual ba [more]
