I've not only taken the class in Linear Algebra, but also tutored it for many years (2004-2010) while working as a tutor at MiraCosta College. I've also used Linear Algebra in practical application, in research I conducted at UCSD, and in personal and professional computer programming projects. I'm a solid tutor with an advanced education and around ten years of experience tutoring and teaching. Many of my previous clients have called me the best tutor they ever had. I hope you'll agree. I have helped students in a number of challenging subjects, including Math, Statistics, Computer Science, [more]

I received an A in college-level Linear Algebra. I also use it quite often in application, because Physics relies on the techniques heavily (e.g. eigenvalues, systems of equations, etc.). I can assist in learning the subject from a mathematical point of view and from the its applications in science. I have been tutoring for nearly 10 years, ranging from Adult Basic Education to college-level Physics and Mathematics. I am beginning graduate studies in Physics at UC San Diego in the Fall of 2015. I recently graduated from SUNY at Buffalo with highest honors in Applied Mathematics and Physics. I [more]

I graduated from Universities and have three science and engineering degrees which use math (including linear algebra) extensively. In addition, I have applied linear algebra to real world scientific problems in industry. I've passed linear algebra classes, and used linear algebra in research and development as part of my professional career as an R&D scientist. Mathematics, Chemistry, and Science take effort to master but you should know that you can do them. The thought processes may be different than what you are used to, but once you become familiar with them, you can prosper in these subj [more]

I've taught Linear Algebra courses more than 8 times during my career. I've also applied the techniques an concepts in the subject to many other courses, such as Linear Programming, Numerical Analysis, and other Optimization courses. I'm a college professor with 25+ years of experience teaching mathematics and computer programming. My favorite subjects include precalculus, calculus, linear algebra, optimization and numerical analysis. I believe the only way to learn mathematics or computer programming is by working through many exercises and problems. There's no way around this. It doesn't [more]

In college, I took a year of formal linear algebra in a class called "Vectors and Matrices". In my years of studying physics especially quantum mechanics - I used linear algebra extensively ... all of QM is based on determining the eigenstates, eigenvalues, and eigenvectors of a physical situation w/ Schroedinger's wave eq, etc. Likewise, in my many years of studying physics and practicing physics research professionally, I have used linear algebra to build data analysis models (e.g., determining rate constants of a complicated chemical reaction, etc.). As I mentioned before, one of my majors at UCSD is engineering. I had to pass 8 engineering math classes in order to be admitted at UCSD. I passed linear algebra with an A, and would be very comfortable tutoring it. I have been tutoring students since I was at high school. I'm so passionate about teaching, and nothing feels like helping other students to succeed. My primary goal is to put outstanding effort on my behalf, to motivate my students, and support them to improve. As a double major student at UCSD (Nano-engineering/Political Science), I am very comfortable to tutor variety of diffe [more]

I have a BA in Mathematics from Oberlin College and a PhD in Physics from the Catholic University of America. I am also an Adjunct Professor of Physics. Linear algebra plays an important role in the solution of physics problems and is an essential part of my work. I have a passion for science, and like to share that with others. I mentor colleagues and subordinates at all educational levels, and in a number of different disciplines. By putting people at ease, I make it easier for them to grasp concepts and overcome barriers to learning. I adjust my teaching style to to the needs and desires [more]

As a visiting Professor at University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown PA, I taught Programming using MATLAB and Electric Circuit Theory classes for Two Semesters. There, I applied Principles of Linear Algebra Extensively in Solving Loop Currents and Node Voltage Problems. Shailesh affectionately called by the students at Mathnasium as Sky, graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Sky has been teaching Math for past five (5) years at various Mathnasiums in Escondido, Rancho Penasquitos, Carlsbad, San Marcos and now in Oceanside. He [more]

I have a master degree in applied mathematics and use linear algebra in my work quite often. I have taught classes in linear algebra and control systems (which rely heavily on liner algebra) many times during my career as a University Professor. Hi, my name is Dr. Gene. I am a former University Professor and College Instructor with many years of experience in teaching and private tutoring of Math and Physics to high school and college students. Over the years I have taught different engineering and scientific disciplines across the board of the entire science, math, and engineering curriculum. [more]

I taught Linear Algebra at a university this semester (Spring 2016). I will also be teaching Linear Algebra at a community college this summer. As a math major, I took Linear Algebra as one of my classes and did very well in it. Hi! My name is Archie, and I LOVE math (math is FUN!)! I have loved math since I was in second grade. I loved math so much that in my senior year in high school, I took AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC at the same time, and then majored in math in college, and went on to grad school to learn as much math as I could! I earned my bachelor's degree in mathematics (w [more]
