I took the course "linear algebra" when I was in college. In my graduate research I used the knowledge from this course extensively. Recently I answered questions related to linear algebra to many students and got excellent feedback. I have BS and MS degrees in Math and a PhD degree in Statistics. In the United States I have taught 6 years as a teaching assistant. Courses include Calculus, Elementary Statistics, Probability, Sampling, etc. I really enjoy working with students and answering their questions. It's my pleasure to work as a tutor and help students.... [more]

Linear Algebra is very useful. I have tutored Linear Algebra through Wyzant Online. I'm good at finding ways to explain concepts to help students to understand them quickly and clearly. Once concepts are understood correctly and clearly, solving problem makes a student solid on the subject. I have a PhD in mechanical engineering. I love physics and math and enjoy tutoring middle school, high school and college students in my spare time . I think the key about learning is to have a solid understanding of the concepts. My goal is to help students use less time to grasp the material in depth [more]

I finished Linear Algebra this semester with the highest grade in class "A". We learned about creating a matrix, raw operations, transposes, inverses, transformation, basis, eigen values and vectors, diagonalization, subspaces and spans, kernel, rank and range and other stuff. I used to assist my fellow students in the material to help them pass the school. I have been tutoring math for more than 10 years. I have encountered different kinds of students either at high school or at college especially students of Calc 1&2. Electronics engineering is my major. This means a lot of advanced mathema [more]

I have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and I am currently a PhD student in Applied Mathematics. I have taken several Linear Algebra and Matrix Algebra courses, ranging from 200-400 level courses. I also have taken several proof based courses, extending from linear algebra proofs to real and complex analysis. Hi Everyone! My name is Ryan. I received a Bachelor's Degree in both Computer Engineering and Engineering Mathematics from the University of Michigan - Dearborn and a doctoral degree in Applied Mathematics from Oakland University. I have taught PreCalc at Jackson College as an adjunct, which uses parts of Linear Algebra in the text used. I have also tutored Linear Algebra at undergrad level. For the past 5 years, I have been working part-time as an adjunct math faculty member at a local community college. I have been teaching various math courses ranging from beginning algebra to pre-calculus, both online and in a classroom environment. I am a certified online instructor. Prior to this, while pursuing my Master's Degree at University of Toledo, I helped undergrad students with different subjects in the field of Electric [more]

As a full-time tutor who specializes in math, I have seen linear algebra - a.k.a. matrix algebra - several times over the years. When I worked at a biomedical lab, I even gave a lecture on the topic. I also know of alternative ways to do some calculations, such as determinants and the Reduced Row Echelon Form. I find that many students are surprised when they learn that the complicated-looking equations are actually sensible after one understands what the subscripts actually mean. I am a certified tutor with eight years of experience as a private full-time tutor, and I was a public tutor for a [more]
