I got an A in Linear Algebra in college. The concepts are made easy by sufficient practice. I remember the formulas, but what's more important is knowing why they are used. Once you know that, it will be a walk in the park. I have many years' experience teaching math and science to students. My degree is in applied and computational math. Scored in the upper 700s on SAT math, 5 on the AP Calculus Exam while in high school. I love the subject and want to make it fun for everyone, because when it is explained properly, math is easy and fun. People have told me that I am a natural teacher. My [more]

When I was an undergrad math major, I received an honors credit in Linear Algebra. I received my honor credit by writing and giving a lecture on a topic the professor did not plan to cover. I was hired privately as a tutor by my fellow classmates. BA in Pure Math, MA in Applied Math and nearly 20 years of tutoring experience. I have been working with students individually for nearly 20 years filling in gaps and getting students ahead in their math class! I can quickly identify gaps and help you formulate a study plan to get those skills filled in and caught up in class in no time! I have al [more]

I have an extensive experience in linear algebra through my calculus 1 class and tutoring for algebra and pre calculus in Diablo Valley College mathlab. I've always had a great passion to math since I was 6. I've already received my first BSc in engineering and going for my second BSc at Diablo Valley college. I have been recommended from all my math teachers to tutor math and am currently working as a math tutor at DVC mathlab for elementary, intermediate, college algebra and calculus 2. Algebra 1 and 2, precalculus, calculus 2 Visualizing math is one key to understanding it.... [more]

I earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine in 2013. I have taught every level of calculus including differential equations for more than 4 years and is working on pursuing a graduate degree in Mathematics. My interests span the fields of mathematics, physics, and computer science. I believe it is important to find a tutor who is patient, who truly enjoys teaching, enjoys the company of his or her students, ... [more]

I graduated with a Masters in Economics from Washington University in St Louis and have a BA in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley. The degrees required extensive coursework in advanced mathematics, including a course in linear algebra. Hi, you can call me Sami. I am a Ph.D. student in Economics but am taking a break from my studies. I earned my Masters in Public Policy from Wash U in May 2011 and my Masters in Economics from Wash U in May 2010 and graduated with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley with dual degrees, a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Busines [more]

As part of my coursework towards a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics at Mills College, I took a Linear Algebra course. It was, I think, the one class that convinced me to major in mathematics. I did exceptionally well and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Mills College, and am now working for an arts nonprofit with youth in Oakland. Before college, I never would have guessed that I would end up studying math, but a really great experience with a professor at Mills changed my mind. I believe that students tend to be scared of math because it isn't a [more]

I got a Ph.D. degree in Math. And I have taught the course of Linear algebra in college over ten years. So, I am very confident in teaching linear algebra. I love doing math and teaching younger generation. Especially, I had taught at one of gifted science high schools for seven years, and one of elite universities for ten years in Korea. From my educational background and teaching experience, I know how to encourage and push them to feel the joy from depth understanding. My main teaching subjects are "AMC 10, 12 / AP Calculus ". We can start with free one hour tutorial session to figure [more]

I have taken and tutored linear algebra at undergraduate and graduate levels as well as many classes in math and physics that heavily use advanced linear algebra: abstract algebra, graduate numerical linear algebra, graduate numerical optimization, graduate mathematical physics, quantum mechanics, graduate quantum field theory. The research projects I am working on are well above the level of linear algebra and use it heavily. I have a vast background in math and physics. I have taken what is often considered to be the hardest course in physics (quantum field theory) and I received an A in b [more]
