I have a bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics and took a Linear Algebra course as part of that degree path. This material was also covered in the math course I TAed. I am enthusiastic about tutoring math and physics, it's a joy to help students see the beauty of math and science. I have degrees in math and Physics from Southern Methodist Univeristy, a Masters in Physical Oceanography (think Physics of the Ocean) from UH and am in the process of earning my PhD. I've taught math and physics courses on the university and graduate levels as well as tutored students from elementary school all [more]

I took Linear Algebra & Differential Equations, a core lower-division course for the math major at Berkeley. Therein I learned about real and complex vector spaces axiomatically, solving linear differential equations, and Fourier series. Then I took Linear Algebra, the core upper-division course. Therein I learned about vector spaces over an abstract scalar field. Then I was a math TA at Oregon State University and tutored for many different courses, including Linear Algebra. Hello. I am a lifelong learner of math and science who likes to connect the dots, and I would like to share what I [more]

I took several linear algebra courses in college. (I have a degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.) I am qualified to tutor this subject. I have been tutoring since 2003 and I like working with students of all ages. I am patient and understanding. Linear algebra, logic, and other "non-mathematical" math topics are my favorites! Aloha, I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My wife and I came to Hawai?i on our honeymoon in 2001 & moved here in 2002. I have been working as a mathematics tutor for more than ten years. I really enjoy it. The world of math contains [more]

I have a Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Oregon. I took Linear Algebra as an undergraduate at Whitman College and received an A grade. I can help you with vector spaces, linear transformations, matrices, eigenvalues, eigenvectors, and more! I have a strong passion for math and pride myself on making obscure concepts easy to understand and fun! I am a Lecturer at Leeward Community College and an Adjunct Instructor at Embry-Riddle University. I have previously taught at Gonzaga University and the University of Oregon. I have proven teaching skills to effectively communica [more]

I have completed linear algebra at both the community college and university levels. In addition to this, linear algebra is heavily used in the controls field of mechanical engineering to find the eigenvectors and eigenvalues that make a system unstable. Hello, I am a mechanical and aerospace engineer that graduated from MIT (both undergraduate and master's degree). I have worked for SpaceX and Boeing, as well as being a Teaching Assistant while a graduate student at MIT. Our universe is beautifully constructed and ordered, and mathematics and science are the key to understanding its b [more]

I have been a AP Physics teacher and adjunct astronomy professor for the past several years. I have created dozens of lesson plans and my own instructional material based on solving problems in linear algebra. Linear algebra type problems show up often in quantum mechanic systems, and I have been extensively tutoring it for the past year to undergraduate students at my local university. At my high school I taught an after school SAT and ACT section. In undergraduate I worked for Kaplan tutoring both the MCAT and the GRE. [more]
