I took Linear Algebra while completing my Physics degree for credit towards a Math minor. I have used the material several times since then in my advanced Physics and Engineering courses and have tutored the subject a couple times as well. I enjoy making math and science more fun and understandable for middle school, high school, and college students. I graduated in spring '08 with a BS in Physics and Math and in spring '10 with a Master's in Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. I was the physics department tutor and supplemental instructor in college for three and a half years and am [more]

I took the 300 level Linear Algebra course at Whitworth University and since then have found it to be essential in higher math. I reviewed higher level material with my research partners for the graduate qualifications exam, and it was at the heart of one of the solutions in my year long research project. It was also the primary tool in a summer seminar I took on compressed sensing and in Numerical Analysis. I am a recent graduate of UT with a Ph.D. in mathematics, with six years teaching experience. I taught mostly calculus at UT and specialize in its rather structured curriculum. I just mov [more]

I have a BS in Math degree in which I attained a GPA of 3.55. I taught Linear Algebra in a Community College for a year. I understand this subject area very well because I have used it to compete successfully in a competition where I was supposed to used complex algebra models to design an optimum tollbooth system for a busy highway. I taught high school for four years and college for one year. Subjects covered were Statistics, AP Calculus, Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Economics, and SAT prep. Because my background is so broad, I substituted for Chemistry and Physics as well. On a part tim [more]
