I have a BS and MS in Mathematics. I am qualified to teach this subject because I obtained A's in the subject at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I have also taught topics of this subject at the university level. I have over 25 years of successful tutoring experience. It gives me great pleasure to see my students move from failing in Mathematics to excelling. I have tutored and taught at locations in New York, Maryland, Massachusetts, Florida and overseas. Presently, I teach mathematics at Valencia College and at the College of Central Florida. I have an MS in Mathematics, but my trainin [more]

I have a Bachelors of Science in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of South Florida. I have passed a Linear Algebra class, used linear algebra extensively in many math and physics courses, and have tutored students in the subject before. I am a recent graduate of the University of South Florida, with a Bachelors of Science in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. I am currently employed as a Systems Engineer in Orlando. I have extensive experience tutoring math, physics, and other science subjects, from elementary to college level. I believe that understanding the fundament [more]

I have taken a few classes in linear algebra at both the undergrad and graduate levels. I have taken many graduate level classes that have used linear algebra, such as quantum mechanics and nonlinear differential equations. While my research work is not in linear algebra, specifically, we have used it as a tool in our research, and we have published the results in mathematics journals and presented them at conferences. I have a PhD in Mathematics. I have 8 years of teaching experience at the nation's second largest university (in terms of on-campus students). I have taught both small classes [more]

Linear algebra is a subject area that came up in many of my mathematics courses at UCF. I took two courses specifically on linear algebra: one titled Linear Algebra and Matrices, and the other Linear Algebra. The courses covered similar material, but one focused mostly on computations while the other was more proof-based and theoretical. At the undergraduate level, these two courses cover everything that you need on linear algebra. I am a recent graduate of UCF with a bachelor?s degree in mathematics and over two years of tutoring and classroom teaching experience. During my time in Seminole [more]

I took proof-based linear algebra and aced it. To quote my awesome professor, "you can never study enough linear algebra". I follow this mantra and to this day I love staying sharp with the concepts. Invertibility, diagonalizability, Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization, inner products; I know these things. Hey there. I've been tutoring for over 5 years now. I started out tutoring at UF while I was a student there and I've been doing it ever since. I've moved on to tutor all ages, but the majority of my tutoring is still college kids. It's been the most rewarding job I've ever had. The way I look at [more]

I am a theoretical physicist. I got grade A in Linear Algebra course at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. I got Ph.D. in Optics from the University of Central Florida in 2011, doing theoretical research in the coupled wave theory. I also have solid knowledge in the group theory. Back in Ukraine, I was pursuing Ph.D. in nuclear physics, working on the theory of quantum angular momentum, so I am an expert in a tensor analysis (I was using such advanced concepts as Clebsch Gordan coefficients and Wigner 6j-symbols on a routine basis). [more]

I graduated at the University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and the courses I have taken at the University includes: Calculus I, Calculus II and Ordinary Differential Equations. I have also worked as a Math Tutor at Granite Junior High school and a Computer Science Teaching assistant in High school. I was teaching assistant in Introduction to Computer Science class in High School and we taught with the C# Language for the 2015-2016 school year, before joining University of Florida for a masters program. In the past, I was a Math Tutor in a Junior high school. Moreover, I have [more]
