I have two semesters of linear algebra as an undergraduate at Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University) and some linear algebra study in graduate school (University of Colorado - Denver). Additionally, I have completed several semesters of independent study which relied heavily on linear algebra. I enjoy that particular subject very much. I love tutoring and my approach is three-fold. First, I help each person learn how to become more successful and independent lifelong learners. Second, each tutee should complete their assignments as much as possible before each session so we can ide [more]

I have taught math subjects for 46 years in public schools. I have also taught these subjects for 24 years at a University in the evenings. I hold a Master's degree in Secondary Education, and I have authored a book on making math concepts easier to learn. I have been teaching math for 46 years. The last 24 of those years I was also teaching evening math at the local University. My experience has been 10 years in 6th grade, 7 years middle school, 26 years Junior High, 3 years High School and 24 years at the University. I use a protocol which shows students how to use their own energy fiel [more]

I have taught in a High School Math Lab where I worked with students at all levels of math, including Geometry, Algegra I and II. I just completed six weeks teaching PreAlgebra, Geometry, and Honors Algebra II at my local high school. I am a highly-qualified teacher with a B.S. and M.S. degree in Elementary Education as well as a Master's in Special Education. My Connecticut certification is in Elementary Education and Special Education (K-12th grade). I have substituted for fourteen years in the public schools, all grade levels and subjects. I am experienced in math and have tutored my own ch [more]

As an undergraduate physics and mathematics major who graduated with highest honors, Linear Algebra becomes the bread-and-butter material for higher-level subjects such as Quantum Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism. Working in Hermitian space with a complete set of orthogonal functions becomes commonplace after a while. With my additional Master's degree in physics, I believe that I am more than capable of being a tutor for the concepts of Linear Algebra. Transcripts are available upon request for the statements made above. [more]

During my undergraduate, I took several courses in advanced linear algebra, starting with honors linear algebra and going through matrix analysis and spectral graph theory. I got perfect grades in all of them. I also did research in spectral graph theory, focusing on matrix algebra. Currently, my research has a great deal to do with vector spaces and linear algebra. I'm a recent graduate with my MSc from the University of Oxford in mathematics. I love everything about math, and love to share it! I think that many people miss out on some of the most beautiful ideas in math because of bad experi [more]
