I have taken Linear Algebra in college and was a calculus teaching assistant in college. As a certified science, math and special education teacher, I enjoy working with students on a daily basis. I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics as well as with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. My Master's degree is from the Warner School of Education in Inclusive Adolescent Science Education. My experience includes over 7 years of tutoring and/or teaching. I have helped students achieve success in every subje... [more]

I have taken Linear Algebra in my sophomore year at college and enjoyed this subject very much. I also did very well and obtained an A- grade for the course. I'm a senior at Fordham University majoring in math and I am also in the process of completing an accelerated Master's of Science in Teaching degree. I have experience in tutoring math in all grades up to calculus I. I may also tutor in college level mathematics including Linear Algebra. I have assisted in teaching and substituted for teachers in middle school math at Andalusia Private School. I organized lesson plans, assisted in pre [more]

I was a mathematics major in college. I took a 300-level course in linear algebra. This course covered vector spaces, linear transformations, inner products, dual spaces, eigenvalues, and eigenvectors. The course was proof-intensive; for each theorem, we were presented with a proof which we needed to be able to reproduce on the tests. I've tutored and taught mathematics and physics in a lot of different contexts. Right now, I'm working as a mathematics teaching assistant at the University of Buffalo, but I've also worked as a lecturer for a five-week course in pre-calculus, as a tutor for an a [more]

Linear Algebra was one of my favorite Math courses that I've taken, and I'd be happy to tutor students in this subject. It is one of the more useful courses for Math and different Sciences. The ideas from Linear Algebra and matrix arithmetic also appear in other courses such as Numerical Analysis, Abstract Algebra, Differential Equations, and Physics. I received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in June 2012 from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. I also received my Master's degree in Mathematics in June 2015 from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. I have teaching and tutoring experi [more]

I have taught this class at Binghamton University. The course began with solving systems of linear equations. The translation of a system of linear equations to a matrix equation and the matrix operations that made two matrix equations equivalent were next discussed. I know the many equivalent conditions for a square matrix to be invertible. I know about vector spaces, and equivalent definitions of subspaces. Matrices are used to define linear transformations. The kernel and range of linear transformations are subspace of Euclidean space. A dot product is defined on Euclidean space. Wit [more]

Linear algebra is the study of linear transformations, matrices, vectors and vector spaces. We learn the algebra of matrices and how these structures relate to the real world and how to manipulate and solve in these systems. I have a masters degree in mathematics from SUNY Brockport. I have a bachelors in mathematics from Roberts Wesleyan College. I have tutored as a Graduate Assistant at the college level for one and a half years. I have taught as an adjunct professor for a semester. I have tutored online for seven years Linear Algebra being one of the subjects. [more]
