I have a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and have been a tutor at NYU School of Engineering for the past 5 years. As a result, I believe I have the capacity to tutor in this very mathematically intensive field in which linear algebra is a core skill. How is life treating you? I am Valmiki, lover of the science. I just graduated with my Master's in Chemical Engineering from New York University. I have been tutoring professionally for 6 years, but I've always enjoyed helping my peers. I believe we have only gotten as far as we have because we had someone to pass on their knowledge. It i [more]

I have taught math subjects for 46 years in public schools. I have also taught these subjects for 24 years at a University in the evenings. I hold a Master's degree in Secondary Education, and I have authored a book on making math concepts easier to learn. I have been teaching math for 46 years. The last 24 of those years I was also teaching evening math at the local University. My experience has been 10 years in 6th grade, 7 years middle school, 26 years Junior High, 3 years High School and 24 years at the University. I use a protocol which shows students how to use their own energy fiel [more]

I have taught in a High School Math Lab where I worked with students at all levels of math, including Geometry, Algegra I and II. I just completed six weeks teaching PreAlgebra, Geometry, and Honors Algebra II at my local high school. I am a highly-qualified teacher with a B.S. and M.S. degree in Elementary Education as well as a Master's in Special Education. My Connecticut certification is in Elementary Education and Special Education (K-12th grade). I have substituted for fourteen years in the public schools, all grade levels and subjects. I am experienced in math and have tutored my own ch [more]

As an undergraduate physics and mathematics major who graduated with highest honors, Linear Algebra becomes the bread-and-butter material for higher-level subjects such as Quantum Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism. Working in Hermitian space with a complete set of orthogonal functions becomes commonplace after a while. With my additional Master's degree in physics, I believe that I am more than capable of being a tutor for the concepts of Linear Algebra. Transcripts are available upon request for the statements made above. [more]

During my undergraduate, I took several courses in advanced linear algebra, starting with honors linear algebra and going through matrix analysis and spectral graph theory. I got perfect grades in all of them. I also did research in spectral graph theory, focusing on matrix algebra. Currently, my research has a great deal to do with vector spaces and linear algebra. I'm a recent graduate with my MSc from the University of Oxford in mathematics. I love everything about math, and love to share it! I think that many people miss out on some of the most beautiful ideas in math because of bad experi [more]

I took Linear Algebra Fall 2018 at Salt Lake Community College and received a B. In high school, I taught myself AP Biology and AP Calculus AB (among other AP classes). Having completed college now at BYU-Idaho with a degree in Biochemistry, I still have this love for learning. Update: I am now fulfilling prerequisites needed to be admitted into a Masters program in Statistics. I am concurrently pursuing a certificate at UVU in Data Analytics. Pre-calculus background: Excellent algebra teachers prepared me well for my Honors Pre-calculus class in high school. My mat... [more]
