I have B.S. degrees in math (with honors) and physics from the University of Texas. I have tutored math and physics for over 10 years to students of secondary schools and universities. I have tutored linear algebra and have seen its applications in other fields of math (such as differential equations). I will be glad to work with you in this subject! Dear Student or Parent: Maybe you feel intimidated or left-behind in physics, or in calculus, algebra or other math. May I help you? I have B.S. degrees in mathematics and physics from the University of Texas, and now after 25 years of exper [more]

Linear Algebra is a subject I've tutored for over three years. As with all of my math classes I had an A in it, but, more importantly, as a result of my experience in teaching it I've developed not only a keen grasp of the subject but a style of presenting it that my students get. Tutoring in the San Antonio area. I have a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Physics from Prairie View A&M University. My approach to tutoring is flexible and, more to the point, effective. While I do have a general strategy I employ for certain subjects, I can adapt and modify it to meet the individual needs of m [more]

Linear algebra is among my favorite subjects to teach because it combines many concepts of algebraic math. I help students by exposing them to different kinds of problems. Examples of problems include: finding the slope when two points are given, how to determine whether two lines are perpendicular or parallel, and finding the equation of lines when only a point and the slope are given. I helped a former student from a D in her class to a B+ and helped give her the confidence to conquer more complex mathematical concepts in her next classes. [more]

I have taken Linear Algebra as a prerequisite for minor in mathematics major for mechanical engineering degree plan. I also have taken engineering analysis I&II which are related to Linear Algebra deeply. I have a bachelor degree of science in mechanical engineering and my GPA is 3.78 out of 4 therefore, I am planning to pursue a Master degree in Fluid and Thermal system. I am a math tutor at Northwest Vista college. I really love math and engineering courses especially Thermodynamics, Mechanics of Fluid, Manufacturing engineering and others. I have many reasons for loving what I do. Helping [more]

I have a BS, MS, and PhD in mathematics. I completed graduate and undergraduate courses in linear algebra with grades of A. I also completed numerous courses requiring linear algebra as a prerequisite. Additionally, I have taught linear algebra at the college level many times in my 25 years of teaching mathematics. I have a PhD from University of the Incarnate Word, a Master's in Mathematics, and a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics from UTSA. I have been teaching and tutoring for almost 30 years. I can tutor any type of math or statistics through the graduate level and any subjects in middl [more]

I am a sophomore physics and math double major at Texas A&M University. I spent this past spring semester tutoring for the calculus based mechanics course for freshmen physics majors and will do the same this fall for the sophomores in electricity and magnetism. In high school I also tutored in Algebra 2. I graduated high school a year ago so have taken all of these classes very recently so the material is all very fresh on my brain. I excelled in these classes and have tutored in some of ... [more]
