I have taken several AP Math and AP Calculus courses in high school and have taken many college level math courses that included linear algebra. I currently teach MBA students Statistics. *****If you are or have a college bound student contact me today for help with the SAT/ACT test preparation and help in preparing college applications and essays. ******* My love of tutoring has come from my lifelong love of learning. As a Summa Cum Laude graduate in both my Bachelor's and Dual Master's Degree Programs, I know that hard work and dedication to learning can pay off in tremendous ways. I am c [more]

At the University of North Florida, I studied linear algebra at both the undergraduate and graduate level. The undergraduate course focused heavily on matrices, and it enhanced an already working knowledge of them. The graduate course allowed me to deepen my understanding of matrix theory and different spaces. That teacher that you can't quite understand? The book that doesn't tell you enough of what you need to solve a problem? That's not me. I've been there. Late nights, coffee, office hours, the works. I was a student in the math program struggling to get my bachelor's degree. Then, I spent [more]

I taught aspects of linear algebra as part of a precalculus course where I taught determinants and their use in solving linear equations with multiple unknowns and it's use to determine if a system has a unique solution, multiple solutions or no unique solutions. I also studied linear algebra as part of a course on ordinary differential equations and the types of homogeneous solutions they generate. I studied the eigenvalue problem as a general method for finding natural frequencies and homogeneous solutions to applications of hyperbolic differential equations. The eigenvalue problems came u [more]

I have taught Linear Algebra at University level for 3 years in Bangladesh. In my graduate comprehensive exam, I got 100% on this subject. When I was at GTA, I graded this course for my honorable professors. Hi there, This is Miraz having two Masters in Math. The first one in Pure Mathematics from Bangladesh and the 2nd one in Applied Mathematics from University of North Florida, USA. I am tutoring from my Undergraduate level, the year 2003. After finishing my first Master's degree, I have taught 3 years at a University. As I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at "UNF Mathematics and St [more]

I have taught several classes on the college level pertaining to college mathematics and college algebra. I also have an 80 hour mathematics degree with a minor in education. Hello! My name is Dave, and I am a retired high school mathematics teacher and middle school principal. I have extensive experience in the teaching profession ranging from the middle school level all the way to teaching college classes. Past teaching experiences have included algebra I and II, geometry, general math, Intro to College Math, and college algebra. I have been tutoring students of all levels for the past fiv [more]

I have a B.A. in Math, a B.S. in Math/Computer Science, and a teaching minor in Physics. One of the math courses taken was a course in the Calculus of Vector Functions. The first 1/3 of the course covered Linear Algebra. A few of the courses I have completed that require and use Linear Algebra concepts and methods are: Mathematics for the Physical Sciences, Advanced Engineering Math, Numerical Analysis, and Linear Networks & Systems. I have taught some basic Linear Algebra concepts in a Math class and in a Computer Science course for Electronics Engineering Technology majors. [more]

I completely understand the concepts in undergraduate linear algebra that include: matrix mathematics, reduced row echelon form through Gaussian elimination, the concept of the determinant of a matrix, subspaces and the idea of a basis, and eigenvalues and eigenvectors and how they relate back to subspaces and the determinant of a matrix. I received a B in my linear algebra course, but I feel like I really learned a lot, and would feel comfortable teaching it. I have never tutored this subject outside of helping other classmates, but I would enjoy to help those who are struggling in the future [more]

I have a University degree with BS in Mathematics and Linear Algebra. I specialized in the study of vector spaces, mappings between spaces and the use of matrices and vectors. I am qualified to teach Linear Algebra to those interested in the advanced math course of Linear Algebra. I am a holder of BS, MCP, MSE, IEEE and University degrees with double major in MATH and Electron Physics from Roosevelt University of Chicago and have completed 26 credit-hour postgraduate work in Mathematics, Electron Physics and Electronics at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. I have received an offic [more]
