Linear algebra is a subject that has a wide range of applications. My experience in linear algebra has allowed me to master some of the most interesting topics in mathematics as well as some of the basic tools we use everyday in algebra. I have had at least two full semesters of detailed coursework in linear algebra; one basic course, and the other a more advanced proof writing course. I have also had at least 3 years of exposure to applications in linear algebra, mostly with respect to physics. With my knowledge and experience in linear algebra, you can be sure to understand and master so [more]

As an undergraduate physics and mathematics major who graduated with highest honors, Linear Algebra becomes the bread-and-butter material for higher-level subjects such as Quantum Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism. Working in Hermitian space with a complete set of orthogonal functions becomes commonplace after a while. With my additional Master's degree in physics, I believe that I am more than capable of being a tutor for the concepts of Linear Algebra. Transcripts are available upon request for the statements made above. [more]

I have taught math subjects for 46 years in public schools. I have also taught these subjects for 24 years at a University in the evenings. I hold a Master's degree in Secondary Education, and I have authored a book on making math concepts easier to learn. I have been teaching math for 46 years. The last 24 of those years I was also teaching evening math at the local University. My experience has been 10 years in 6th grade, 7 years middle school, 26 years Junior High, 3 years High School and 24 years at the University. I use a protocol which shows students how to use their own energy fiel [more]

I have taught in a High School Math Lab where I worked with students at all levels of math, including Geometry, Algegra I and II. I just completed six weeks teaching PreAlgebra, Geometry, and Honors Algebra II at my local high school. I am a highly-qualified teacher with a B.S. and M.S. degree in Elementary Education as well as a Master's in Special Education. My Connecticut certification is in Elementary Education and Special Education (K-12th grade). I have substituted for fourteen years in the public schools, all grade levels and subjects. I am experienced in math and have tutored my own ch [more]

I have a degree in math ed as well as a level 4 current teaching certificate. I have been an active teacher and math tutor for sixteen years. I just moved to the area and am wanting to continue teaching, which is my passion. I have taught high school as well as at risk teens in treatment programs. I have also taught honors students seeking a greater depth of understanding and college students needing to graduate. :) I can reteach any lesson if necessary or just supplement a lesson based on student needs. With my experience, I am able to teach most things by just lo... [more]

During my undergraduate, I took several courses in advanced linear algebra, starting with honors linear algebra and going through matrix analysis and spectral graph theory. I got perfect grades in all of them. I also did research in spectral graph theory, focusing on matrix algebra. Currently, my research has a great deal to do with vector spaces and linear algebra. I'm a recent graduate with my MSc from the University of Oxford in mathematics. I love everything about math, and love to share it! I think that many people miss out on some of the most beautiful ideas in math because of bad experi [more]

I received a BS in Physics from Metro State Univ of Denver (MSUD) in 1993 and an MS in Experimental High Energy Physics (EHEP) from KSU in 1996, and completed all of the coursework necessary for a PhD in Nuclear/Experimental High Energy Physics at KU. On the way to these degrees I took math and physics courses which taught linear algebra, _e.g._ linear algebra and matrix theory (at the undergraduate level), mathematical methods of physics (at both the undergraduate and graduate levels) and made extensive use of linear algebra, _e.g._ quantum mechanics (at both the undergraduate and graduate l [more]
