I have taken three courses that specifically cover Logic in college. The first is Philosophy 201, Intro to Logic. Second, Discrete Mathematics, in which we did an entire chapter on logical arguments. Finally, Introduction to Proof Writing, we covered logic again in order to write successful proofs. I am now a graduate student and I use logic every day in my proofs. I have a Master's degree in Biostatistics and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, with an emphasis in Secondary Education. I currently work full-time as a statistician in health services research. I have been tutoring math at [more]

I received an A in Logic, and have helped students with Logic in the tutoring center of the University at which I work for several years. I have an undergraduate and Master's degree in mathematics, and am one year away from finishing a Ph.D. Hello! My name is Anthony V. I am a Ph.D student in pure mathematics at the University of Toledo one year away from graduation, and I hold a Master's degree and a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics. I have been tutoring for almost 10 years, and have experience helping students enrolled in classes ranging from elementary school arithmetic to graduate leve [more]

I have a Master's degree in Computer Science and a BS in Mathematics. Logic was one of the subjects in my degree programs. I have been teaching AP Computer Science to many high school students where logic is an important topic that I cover. I am a NTA certified tutor. I am currently teaching AP Computer Science to high school students and Math Abacus to k through 7th grade students. I love to see my students succeed in their grades. I try to customize my teaching approach for different grade levels. It is a learning experience for me whenever I teach to my students. Usually I explor [more]

I have had Logic as part of curriculum for both undergrad and grad requirements. I have since then tutored students in this particular subject. I have also gone through teaching workshop for logic at Jackson College where we have incorporated logic just recently as part of one of our courses last year. For the past 5 years, I have been working part-time as an adjunct math faculty member at a local community college. I have been teaching various math courses ranging from beginning algebra to pre-calculus, both online and in a classroom environment. I am a certified online instructor. Prior to t [more]

I have helped several undergraduate math, c.s., and philosophy students, as well as two philosophy PhD students, with graduate level logic, and I studied logic while obtaining my undergraduate degree. I have 15 + years of teaching and tutoring experience both at university and am the owner of a private tutoring company that has contracted with Michigan State for many years, ghost written test prep materials for large companies, and provided educational services to domestic and foreign government programs. You are welcome to split my fee with other students without additional cost. I am a f [more]

Digital logic and microcontrollers are the gold standard of applications of formal logic as I have performed both in academia and in private industry. Boolean Algebra is the expression of an abstract field of characteristic two, and I have applied this concept repeatedly as an electrical engineering and mathematics student and graduate. I have used Consensus Theorem, Karnaugh map optimization and minimization, and have taken the abstract algebra course necessary to understand not only the binary logic as it exists today, but what ternary logic would look like in the future. I often use the for [more]
