Mastering logical concepts is fundamental to doing well on the LSAT (Law School Admittance Test). I have scored in the 98.6 percentile (172) on a real LSAT, and received a perfect score on both the logical reasoning and logic games sections. I have also tutored my peers on the logic portions of the LSAT. When tutoring, I focus on a specific concepts/question types and then work through different practice problems. Hello, LSAT takers. I'm Brock. A little about me: I work for Alston & Bird, one of the largest corporate law firms in Atlanta, where I work with the litigation and trial practice gro [more]

I studied mathematical logic with Gerald Sachs at M.I.T. I took every mathematical logic class offered at Harvard and M.I.T. These include Recursion Theory, Set Theory, Model Theory, and Higher Recursion Theory. In each class, the grade of A was received. Books studies include Enderton's "A Mathematical Introduction to Logic" and Hodges' "A Shorter Model Theory." I taught mathematical logic in the philosophy department at UGA. I studied mathematics at M.I.T. for many years. I came to Georgia to get a doctorate in philosophy. I have been teaching and tutoring for a decade at various colleges [more]

I taught approximately twelve classes in symbolic logic and critical thinking while a graduate student at the University of Georgia, and symbolic logic was my special area of study while a philosophy major. The topic of my Master's thesis concerned C.S. Peirce's Existential Graphs (a graphical logic system that looks something like Venn diagrams). I have tutored symbolic logic since 1986. I have been tutoring both high school and college students for 30 years. As a graduate student at UGA, I taught symbolic logic four times. In the past year, I have taught four SAT math preparation classes a [more]

I have taken a math proof logic course, as well as philosophy class on logic. In the philosophy class I studied concepts different types of arguments, truth tables, etc. (***NOW ACCEPTING STUDENTS FOR AP CALCULUS AB SUMMER PREP***) Hello. My name is Lee, and I am all about math. I have been tutoring students from elementary school to college for many years, I taught math in high school, and I have even held a Teacher Assistant position during my graduate years of college. All of my time is spent studying math, and finding ways to explain mathematical concepts to students so that comprehending [more]

I completed a course in Logic along with similar courses such as Modern Algebra courses dealing with proving theorems. My name is Michael and I hold a B.S degree in Mathematics and completed 28 hours of graduate work in Mathematics/Statistics at Eastern Michigan University. I am currently certified to teach all levels of middle and high school mathematics, physics, and economics. Prior to earning my B.S degree, my previous major was Engineering. The combination of my college course work left me with a major in mathematics, Statistics and Physics, and a minor in Chemistry and Economics. I have [more]

I have earned an "A" grade in all 4 college courses in logic that I have taken. The four courses include Critical Thinking, Proof Structures, Discrete Mathematics, and Introduction to Advanced Mathematics. All included truth tables, fallacies, logical connectives, set theory, proofs, recursion, logical connectors, conditional and compound statements, relations, functions, tautologies, contradictions, and logical equivalences. Hi, I am a recent college graduate from Berry College with a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Business Administration. I started working at the UGA Science Library in Jun [more]

At Morehouse I aced my Set Theory/Logic class. Therefore, there is no doubt in me that I can tutor this class without and problems. I have worked in the school community for over five years and I have worked in all avenues of education. I have successfully completed my math content GACE exams, which make a highly qualified teacher for 6-12 grade mathematics. I have taught all levels of mathematics, starting from the elementary level all the way to the college.I have successfully assisted in curriculum development and professional development among my colleagues. In my work as a math teacher [more]

I currently serve in a math tutoring position at a college where I assist undergraduate students in Math 140 and abstract math both of which are math courses where Logic is taught. I assist students in the understanding and comprehension of these topics through the assistance of study guides and worksheets, that I personally create. I completed college level courses in this topic and received A's. I feel I have a broad understanding of the topic and feel confident that I am able to break it down to a level where a lay person is able to relate to it. [more]

I got a 101 in my college logic class this semester. I'll be happy to help. I tutored the other students in my class when taking the course. In multiple math classes that I have taken, each has a logic component that I always did well in. I have tutored many of these classes and specialize in truth tables and logical proofs. My name is Chelsea and I am returning to Altanta from the Anniston, AL area. With my bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Wesleyan College and brief experience as a high school math teacher, I am confident that I can help with all of your math needs. Looking forward to [more]

I am well versed in digital logic commands such as "and", "or", "nand" and "nor" gates (and various combinations of the same). Typical chips supporting digital devices include 7400, 7402, etc. What I really liked was the programmable chips such as the 8255 - programmable interface adapter! I previously completed 2 successive courses in Digital Devices and currently use logical devices to decode digital addresses in computer type circuits. So you need help learning Algebra, Trig or Calculus! I guess the reason you're seeking help is not because you watch ?The Big Bang Theory? and have seen [more]
