I have utilized Mathematica throughout the extent of my undergraduate education. In addition, I heavily relied on Mathematica for analytic calculations while obtaining my M.S. degree. Such experience has yielded a broad mastery of the program's various built-in functions and features. I have generated various template notebook files which could come in quite handy for creating new programs or for teaching purposes. Hi there! I am a computational physicist at USC, doing research in quantum optics and solid-state physics. I teach all levels of mathematics, as well as introductory and college-lev [more]

I have 3 years of extensive Mathematica programming as a Chemical Engineer. I originally taught myself Mathematica programming to perform Quantum Physics calculations, and developed the skill to a point where I taught classes in Mathematica programming at University. Hello, Are you or your child having a problem in a subject? Well, my name is Eric and I'm here to help. As a Chemical Engineer with a Minor Technology Management from the University of California at Davis and Associates degrees in Physics, Mathematics and Natural Science, I've had to take pretty much every class from Differential [more]

I took a suite of courses in Mathematica programming specifically targeted to materials sciences and received A grades in all courses. I really enjoyed using Mathematica and tried to use it as much as possible as an undergraduate and still do as a professional. I am seeking students for most subjects related to math, science, and engineering. I have two B.S. degrees: one in Materials Science and Engineering and one in Chemical Engineering and am currently pursuing my M.S. degree in Earth and Environmental Science. I have a life long passion for learning and am particularly interested in all [more]

I started using Mathematica with version 5, in 2003, which was my first year taking graduate classes in the UCLA Dept. of Chemistry. When I subsequently was a teaching assistant for the department's graduate statistical mechanics class, I taught those students to use Mathematica. I've also used Mathematica extensively in my research. I have a B.A. in chemistry and biology from Dartmouth (summa cum laude), a Ph.D. in chemistry from UCLA, and am currently an Adjunct Prof. of Chemistry at West Los Angeles College. I also have four years of experience teaching chemistry and other sciences at th [more]

I have been a mathematica user for more than 15 years. I've used it primarily to back up analysis that I've done as a EE using other tools such as matlab or mathcad. The user interface takes some getting used, and I can put together a list of problems and references that should help the student get up to speed. Mathematica is a great tool, that's worth the extra effort it takes to learn. I've used it to solve problems in linear algebra, as well as electromagnetics. I am an Electrical Engineer with work experience at Hughes Aircraft, Boeing (Anaheim), Raytheon, and Freescale Semiconductor ( [more]

I have a PhD in physics and mathematics (University of Oklahoma, 1971), and am familiar with the Mathematica curriculum and testing. I have also tutored scores of students in all branches of math, ip to calculus 2. I have held a Nevada Teaching License for years, and have a PhD in physics and mathematics. Former full-time substitute teacher in various CCSD schools, from elementary to high school. Taught math, science and other subjects. Also tutored for various private tutoring companies, to help students pass the Nevada Mathematics Proficiency Exam, required to obtain a high school diploma. [more]
