During the course of getting my BS in physics with a mathematical emphasis, I took several classes that took advantage of MATLAB, including several numerical analysis courses. As such, I became comfortable using MATLAB for the purpose of numerics. Additionally, I used MATLAB a bit in the lab I worked in at UC Merced. I used it to create a topographical map of a sample from gathered ellipsometry data, so I have some lab experience with it as well. Additionally I've tutored several students over the past few years in the basics of MATLAB. [more]

Currently I am working on my PhD thesis trying to develop meshfree numerical methods for solving eigenproblem for Differential Operators on Manifolds. Numerical component of this research project is implemented entirely in MATLAB. I was tutoring MATLAB in Fall 2013, Summer 2014 and Fall 2014 semester in Claremont Graduate University and Claremont University Consortium. As a proof I can provide link to the Software Lab of Claremont Center of Mathematical Sciences, where I was tutoring MATLAB, Python, C++, and Maple. In addition, two years ago I was working on a research project run by Claremo [more]

I used MATLAB in all of my chemical engineering courses and I taught MATLAB to several students this year. I think MATLAB is an essential tool for people who are looking into modeling and designing softwares. I have teaching record of 5.0 for Chemistry and calculus AP scores. I am currently working as a developer for a software company and was a lecturer at California State University. I have obtained my teaching knowledge during my Ph.D as well as my postdocs where I worked with famous scientists in high ranked Chemical Engineering/Chemistry schools such as Northwestern University and Univers [more]

I apply MATLAB to analyze scientific research data across a broad spectrum of information. I have 4 years of experience tutoring undergraduate and graduate students in MATLAB. I attended Georgia Institute of Technology and received a B.S. with high honors in Earth and Atmospheric Science. I continued my education and received a M.S. from the University of California Irvine in Earth System Science. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Earth System Science at the University of California Irvine. One of my favorite parts of the PhD program here at UCI is being able to be a teaching assistant. I am p [more]

I did a lot of engineering matlab projects in college. I also used it a lot at work for automation and processing data for antennas. I know how to program in general and I know a lot of matlab functions due to experience. Experience with teaching college students at UCLA through the academic advancement program (AAP). Duties include facilitating the learning of peers currently enrolled in the course I am teaching, reinforcing the concepts and reasoning learned in class to better prepare them for exams. Tutored for three different calculus courses while providing my students with worksheets I c [more]

I received a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Southern California. I also received a M.S. in applied mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Both school are top research universities in the nation. During my graduate studies, I took scientific computational classes and Computational Partial Differential Equation classes which required me to use Matlab to solve various numerical mathematics problems. I can use Matlab to do some basic plotting or solving problem, or even write programs to solve problems repeatedly. I really enjoy programming with Matlab. I th [more]

I have a doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering and have used Matlab for over 25 years. I am an expert in utilization of Matlab and also am an industry advisor to the Mathworks, the developer of Matlab. Hi there. I can help you with all your Math, Science, and Matlab related tutoring needs. I will be happy to talk to you first if you have any questions, so don't be shy! I have a doctorate degree in electrical engineering and have taught and worked in the industry for many years. I am familiar with details of the most complicated problems and can explain them to you in simple words. I und [more]

I am an Electrical Engineering. MATLAB is one of the necessary tools in this field. I have used MATLAB since I studied at university. I have developed a lot of codes under MATLAB. Also, I am familiar with the Simulink part of MATLAB. I have taught MATLAB to some students who did not have any background in programming, and helped them to conduct their projects. I am a PhD Student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC Irvine. As a graduate student, I am working as a teacher assistant, and teaching many courses to undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, I taught a lot of element [more]

Matlab was my first programming language and I was the main coding resource for my class of chemical engineers. I did my M.S. thesis in Matlab which is now in the review process for a journal article. I wrote a Matlab to R code translator that forced me to understand the language for a variety of applications and purposes. I have always been the person people come to for help for hard problems. I used to hang around my university's computer labs just to see if anyone needs some help on a hard problem set. This transferred to my career as a researcher when I taught my supervisor how to effectiv [more]

MATLAB is a common software and interpreted language used for analysis in engineering and scientific disciplines. It is used for things like numerical methods, statistics, plotting, and more; it has toolboxes for greater utility, like control systems applications. It provides an easier way to be introduced into programming. As a graduate in mechanical engineering, I successfully used MATLAB to write code to solve problems in heat transfer, mechanics, and numerical methods. I can also use it to interact with electronics, like Arduino boards. Whether a simple calculation is required, or a comp [more]
