MATLAB was used in most of my classes, and extensively at both of my internships - one at Bose Corporation for six months and the other at Draper Laboratory for two years, full and part-time. I also use MATLAB for my Masters in Acoustics very frequently (almost every class). I feel extremely comfortable with MATLAB and have helped my classmates understand the language in many classroom scenarios. As a successful undergraduate and a Masters student in the challenging, interdisciplinary field of Acoustical Engineering, I know how important a great teacher can be. Through fantastic teachers I hav [more]

I worked on MATLAB extensively while holding different positions. First, I was an undergraduate student doing graduation project of UMTS implementation from 2007 to 2008. Second, I worked from Oct 2008 to Nob 2017 as a Graduate Research Assistant in Nile University, Egypt, where I published several papers, currently with ~250 citations on Google Scholar. Third, I worked from Jan 2011 to Jan 2013 as a Graduate Research Assistant in the University of Texas at Austin where I published a paper in a top Wireless Communications conference. Fourth, I worked as a Graduate Research Intern at 3M R&D, wh [more]

I currently am pursuing my PhD in Physics at UCSD. I spend most of my time developing simulations of a new kind of logic circuit, known as a memcomputer. On a daily basis I use MATLAB to handle large data sets, solve differential equations, and analyze data via visualization techniques. I have been tutoring for nearly 10 years, ranging from Adult Basic Education to college-level Physics and Mathematics. I am beginning graduate studies in Physics at UC San Diego in the Fall of 2015. I recently graduated from SUNY at Buffalo with highest honors in Applied Mathematics and Physics. I was chosen as [more]

I taught VLSI Design and Programming using MATLAB Classes at the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown PA for two Semesters in Years 2011-2012. Also, I have completed more than a dozen projects related to Integrated Circuit Design and Production for Commercial and Military Applications while I was employed with Big blue corporations, Texas Instruments, Motorola/IBM, HP and Broadcom. I have successfully tutored my student, a manager at Qualcomm Jim Oates for developing a MATLAB model about communication channel. [more]

My research and school work consist of modeling different types of problems in MATLAB such as: modeling bio-mimetic neural networks, finite difference schemes for modeling partial differential equations, gradient and non gradient methods for optimization of multi variable functions. I have been using MATLAB for about 4 years for these various projects. Hello everyone. :) Feel free to contact me whenever you need help with anything related to mathematics. I have two years of tutoring second semester calculus (integration, sequences and series etc) to university students, but I am also knowledg [more]

As a Flight Controls engineer for satellite and helicopter programs, MATLAB was my primary development tool. I have BS and MS degrees in Aerospace Engineering and have worked in the Aerospace industry for 30 years. Hi, I'm Jim. I've enjoyed a long career in the aerospace business with companies like Boeing, Honeywell, Motorola, Northrop Grumman, and Sikorsky. Most of those jobs required detailed geometry, trigonometry, Excel and Matlab skills. I am entertained by focusing my time using those skills, and sharing them with others. My tutoring method attempts to engage the stude [more]

All of the programming assignments and projects that I completed in graduate school were done using MATLAB. I focused on simulation of solid mechanics equations using MATLAB tools and functions and code developed using the finite element method. I also completed optimization projects using MATLAB. I studied as an undergraduate at the University of California, San Diego and graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2011. After working in industry for a few years, I attended graduate school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I graduated with an M.S. in Mechanical En [more]

I have been using MatLab for over 20 years for a variety of theoretical and data analysis tasks. I have extensive experience with the base program and the following toolboxes: digital signal processing, curve fitting, statistics, and image processing. I have a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics (double major) and a Ph.D. in Physics. I currently teach Physics and Math at National University. I have a passion for science and math, and like to share that with others. I mentor colleagues and subordinates at all educational levels, and in a number of different disciplines. By putting people at ease, [more]

I have been working with MATLAB and C++ together for several years now. I also used MATLAB in my graduate math classes. I have been teaching both accounting and computer science at Palomar College part time since 2002. I also have a BS in Math, a California Single Subject Math Teaching Credential and will be earning an MA in Math Teaching by the end of 2012. I have been tutoring math and other subjects since 2004. HOWEVER: please understand that I am not here to do your homework for you. You must attempt the work before asking me for help.... [more]

I am qualified to tutor in MATLAB because I used it while I was in grad school. I used MATLAB to calculate the eigenvalues of the adjacency matrices of the graphs for my dissertation. I also used it in college for plotting graphs in Calculus 3. Hi! My name is Archie, and I LOVE math (math is FUN!)! I have loved math since I was in second grade. I loved math so much that in my senior year in high school, I took AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC at the same time, and then majored in math in college, and went on to grad school to learn as much math as I could! I earned my bachelor's degree i [more]
