Chemical Engineering Graduate Offering Tutorship In Person and Online

The Chemical Engineering curriculum applies Matlab coding in several classes across four to five years. Additionally, I spent 6 months as Teacher's Assistant for Process Dynamics & Control, two classes in which intermediate Matlab coding was applied. I taught a fraction of 180 students Matlab and troubleshot their code. Hi! Thank you for reaching out! QUALIFICATIONS - I am a Chemical Engineering graduate from Oregon State University. I graduated in June 2016. I excelled in school and college, achieving Summa Cum Laude status. I am strong in Math up to Calculus and Differential Equations, and [more]

University Level Educator Offering Help in High School Math and S

I am a mechanical engineer with extensive experience using MATLAB to develop solutions to a variety of engineering analysis problems. I have used MATLAB as a government contractor developing detailed scripts to calculate pressure distributions on finned vehicles. More recently, I used MATLAB for an extensive study of fuel reactions, emissions, temperatures, and energy release. In my current role, as a professor of engineering, I have been teaching MATLAB to a variety of college students that use it for many levels of engineering problem solving. [more]

Biology and chemistry tutor

I used Matlab extensively during my PhD and postdoctoral experience to analyze data and run simulations. I occasionally helped new students in our lab learn Matlab. I have a Master's in Biology and have experience teaching introductory biology to majors and non-majors at the college level. Plus, I used to teach swimming to young children when I was in college. Since different students learn at different paces, I tailor my instruction to match the student's pace for one-on-one instruction. I have a good understanding of basic algebra, and used it both academically and professionally. I l [more]

very patient and enthusiastic tutor!

I have a master's degree in civil engineering. I used Matlab in my research work a lot. I developed several code to calculate the building motion cause by earthquake. I also developed the code Stochastic differential equation which is relative to concentrate distribution in water. I am currently working as an engineer after receiving my master's degree in Engineering. I worked as a tutor, teaching and research assistant for 3 years. I love teaching math, science and Japanese language. I would describe myself as a patient and enthusiastic tutor. Any student who need help for math, science and [more]

Experienced Math and Physics Tutor

I started learning MATLAB in my Calculus classes. I don't really think of it as a skill anymore. It's a pervasively useful item on my desktop. Teaching MATLAB is basically a user friendly version of teaching any programming framework. There's syntax and data structure. But most important is the Help Menu! It works (unlike most programs) and provides insight, too. I find teaching MATLAB kind of like going to a playground. It's a lot of fun (results are easy to demonstrate) and there are a bunch of really neat toys (programs, etc.) already there for you and your student to play with. [more]
