During my undergraduate career our engineering computer programing class specifically covered MATLAB programing in great detail. I excelled in the class, got a 100% on one of the tests and received an A. Based on this stellar performance in the class, I was hand-picked to be a teaching fellow two years later. I taught students for a whole semester in how to set up loops, conditionals, and perform control flow in MATLAB. I also taught them how to use the symbolic toolbox. I continued to tutor students in MATLAB as a member of Sigma Gamma Tau, and greatly enhanced my MATLAB knowledge base throug [more]

I taught MATLAB to engineering and computer science students at George Mason University over the course of nine semesters as adjunct faculty. I was the Lead Instructor for at least 85 one- or two-day MATLAB and Simulink courses across North America where I taught at IBM, Northrop Grumman, NSA and GM Powertrain to name but a few. I was a tutor at George Mason University where I earned a BSEE and an MSEE. I also taught MATLAB there as a graduate student under a teaching assistantship. I am a professional software developer who specializes in MATLAB-based and Simulink-based applications. I h [more]

I've worked with MATLAB for over 15 years and have tutored students in a wide range of courses and projects in all areas from basic exercises in the MATLAB programming language and handling of data and arrays, structures, function handles, classes and object-oriented data types to a wide range of practical, real-world projects involving complex data analysis, often including large data sets. I specialize in working with students and professionals in both areas - from basic programming techniques to larger projects that include support for large data sets and interface with other languages thr [more]

This is used in all of my classes at this point. We use this to solve higher order differential equations, partial differential equations, create functions to approximate values and vectors within a certain degree of error. I've used this to create functions, GUI's, and just general high-level programming language structures. Logan here! I am an alumnus of the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering! As such, I have spent the past seven years tutoring primarily high school and undergraduate students in mathematics from algebra to calculus, engineering from kinematics to [more]

In my first class in Matlab I learned the principals of the language, low and high level file I/O, image manipulation, and data interpretation. I then learned PID controller design using the root locus method and dynamics modeling using Matlab. In my controls lab I learned how to use rltool and Simulink for controller design. In my robotics and autonomy class, I learned and implemented differential dynamic programming, model predictive control, machine learning in the form of batched and recursive least squares regression, Kalman filtering, and Reinforcement Learning in the form of the finite [more]

I have been tutoring MATLAB programming for 15 years. Many of the students I have tutored were engineering majors at the University of Tennessee. At the University of Tennessee, as well as at most colleges, MATLAB is the language that homework assignments given to engineering majors, that require a computer program, are usually done in. Due to this I have a great deal of experience in teaching MATLAB programming. Also, I use MATLAB on a regular basis for much of my own programming and have a considerable amount of knowledge about using the more advanced features of MATLAB. MATLAB is considere [more]

I have obtained an B.S. degree in Geology within the Geoscience Department at Georgia State University graduating with a 4.08/4.3 GPA. Afterwards, I obtained an M.S. degree in Hydrogeology (with a minor in Mathematics) within the Geoscience Department at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I have extensive experience (4+ years) in college-level and research-level Mathematics, Numerical Methods, and computer programming. I have taken a variety of Mathematics classes, in both breadth and depth. These courses are related to but not limited to topics such as: Calculus I, II, & III, Vector Calc [more]

I completed all programming requirements at Georgia Tech and focused primarily on programming using MATLAB. I have experience primarily in working with MATLAB in developing programs and performing analog signal analysis as well as some prior experience programming microcontrollers with C++. I am a native of Chattanooga and a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. I have a little over a year of previous tutoring experience in Atlanta during which times I worked middle school, high school, university, and returning-adult students. At the time of my ret [more]

I have tutored MATLAB at Vanderbilt University. I understand the basic functions as well as the more advanced features with MATLAB such as data tracing. I feel confident I can assist anyone in this subject. My Motto: With each concept I did not know, there?s always a journey. Even if I don't know something, I will strive to learn it. This motto has proven to be very invaluable? even early on throughout high school as I received a full academic scholarship to a well respected and prestigious university. It's an important quality for someone to know a lot, but I find that the most important qu [more]

I have been coding ever since I was in high school. I have completed a high number of projects from the idea to design, and to programming. MATLAB is one of these statistical tools, and is used heavily by the machine learning community, including me. I'm a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology with a minor in Machine Learning. The Georgia Tech CS program is ranked 7th nationally, among all the CS graduate schools, according to the USNews. Being such a competitive school, entails being knowledgable, too. In the lab that I do research, we implement our algorithmic [more]
