Much of my recent work, including as a college instructor, has involved writing programs using Matlab, which I enjoy using very much. I am knowledgeable about the language itself and many of the various aspects of software development including program design, numerical algorithms, graphics and troubleshooting. I am glad to help students to get up to speed with Matlab! Math, Physics and Engineering are my main areas and I have a solid record of success helping students as a tutor. Most have improved by two grade points. Recently, I earned a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering at Virgini [more]

I started using MATLAB at the graduate school. I used it for the programming part of my research. Working as a mathematician and researcher, I used MATLAB in a regular basis since 2000. I am a PhD Mathematician and a software engineer with tutoring experience in USA, Germany, and Korea. I have many years of experience in tutoring middle and high school students (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, AP calculus, probability). I also have experience in teaching college classes and mentoring interns (calculus, linear algebra, finite mathematics, discrete mathematics, probability, computer program [more]

I have used MATLAB in the workplace both at NIST and in the defense contracting industry. In each situation, MATLAB was the primary tool used for data collection, signal processing, and instrument control. I have also used MATLAB extensively in electromagnetic research and other coursework (such as a course on scientific computing). Hello, I'm Andrew! I am currently a Ph.D. track student at the University of Maryland, College Park in electrical engineering, and I graduated with a B.S. in electrical engineering as a summa cum laude in Spring 2017. I have been working as a tutor and/or a teachin [more]

I have taken MATLAB programming during my undergraduate years, and I am currently using MATLAB for my research during graduate school. (***NOW ACCEPTING STUDENTS FOR THE UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR***) Hello! My name is Lee, and I am all about math. I have been tutoring students from elementary school to college for many years, I've taught high school math, and I have even held a Teacher Assistant position during my graduate years of college. All of my time is spent studying math, and finding ways to explain mathematical concepts to students so that comprehending the material seems natural and effort [more]

I double-majored in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, and minored in Psychology. As part of my majors, MATLAB was a must. We used MATLAB for labs, projects, and our senior design projects. For one of my majors, we used MATLAB to design a model R/C aircraft, including for wing design and structural analysis. I am a tutor certified through the National Tutoring Association (NTA). Hello, My name is Mahen, and I am a tutor certified through the National Tutoring Association (NTA). Since 2003, I have been working with youth (ages 5-18) and adults in the capacity of tutoring, orga [more]

I have a strong Matlab knowledge and teaching skills with 6+ years of experience in working with large data sets. Experience in working with large drilling datasets, multi-well, crew, equipment, and pad performance analysis. I wrote more than 10 Matlab based software for x-ray computed tomography image reconstruction. 5+ Years of Teaching Experience with Matlab. I am a creative and effective tutor with PhD in physics. I received my Bachelor?s degree in Physics in 2008 from the Lebanese University and my Master's degree in physics from Blaise Pascal University in 2009. In 2012, I obtained my Ph [more]

Matlab is widely used in academic research, engineering, and elsewhere. I love the language because it is so carefully designed, written and documented, so effective for high level scripting, and so adept at generating attractive figures. I have been using Matlab extensively since 2000, and currently I use it almost daily. I recently started two companies to license Matlab software I have written. I have taken classes in a number of programming languages, but Matlab is my favorite. I have always enjoyed teaching and helping others to learn. My formal education includes a BS in Physics, a [more]

I have a working knowledge of MATLAB. I have used MATLAB in many courses during my undergrad, as well as graduate program. Some courses that I have used MATLAB include signals and systems, and computational Finance. I have tutored students with basic MATLAB defining a vector, (simple loops, conditional statements, etc) in the past. I am an experienced math tutor who has worked at George Mason University Math Learning Center for about three years, where I tutored students in variety of math courses such as algebra, probability, and calculus. I have a strong passion for teaching and more importa [more]

MATLAB is an integral part of research in Theoretical and Computational Biophysics and Physical Chemistry. I have experience testing theoretical equations used to model data, as well as for plotting and evaluating correlations between experimental data and theory. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Chemistry from Georgetown University, where I am studying theoretical and computational biophysical chemistry. I graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Biology from Boston College. I have over six years of previous experience tutoring chemistry, biology and the GRE in college, as well a [more]

Matlab is ideal for projects involving data as well as for general science and engineering computation. Matlab has been the main software development system I have used for nine years in projects in engineering and physics. The special areas I have worked on include modeling and simulation, statistics, and data analysis. Hello. You may call me Dr. David and I would enjoy being your tutor in English reading, writing and speaking; Pure and Applied Mathematics, including Statistics; ACT, SAT and GRE Prep; or, Physics. In the last few years, I taught and tutored students in High School, College [more]
