I taught all lectures and labs for Introduction to Computer Programming for Engineers using MATLAB at the college level for several years. This course assumed no prior programming experience and covered topics from MATLAB basics to numerical methods. I'm Mary Anne. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in English, and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. I will be receiving a Master of Science and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering in May and October of 2018, respectively. I am excellent at explaining complex subjects in ways that are ea [more]

I took a MATLAB class for engineering students in my freshman fall in college. I have now utilized it every semester since then, building a simulation of the plume in pulsed laser deposition of complex oxides. I am a graduate magna cum laude from Cornell University's College of Engineering, and I have more than 7 years of teaching experience. For around 2 years I taught a supplementaty class in college-level math (i.e. multivariable calculus, differential equations, linear algebra) for Cornell. I love teaching, and connecting with each student. I tutor up to majors-level introductory [more]

I am using Matlab extensively for my thesis for a master's degree in math. I have been using it for about two years as part of my math studies. I was a programmer for many years before returning to school. I can help you with all of the basics of Matlab. I am capable of understanding the documentation (which is a bit cryptic, because it's written in math equations using math terminology), so I can quickly learn anything you need. I can even teach you how to understand the Matlab environment and docs so you learn more about Matlab on your own (so you never need to pay a tutor again!). [more]

I have coded my Masters Thesis in MATLAB. I am a Ph.D. student at Binghamton University. My major is Industrial and Systems Engineering. I have a strong background in math, calculus, geometry, statistics, and science. I am willing to tutor to students from primary school students to the college students. I am willing to meet in the public library or in any public area. Having a master's and earning a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering makes me qualified to tutor others. I am also a teaching assistant at BU. My goal is to impro... [more]

I work full time as a Research Engineer in which I do a lot of data processing and programming using Matlab. I learned Matlab while attaining my undergraduate degree and have expanded my knowledge since. While I attended TCNJ I was a paid tutor for the college in the subjects associated with Electrical Engineering including but not limited to Calculus, Physics, Differential Equations, and Computer Programming. This was a duration of three years; tutors were not able to tutor without at least a sophomore status. I now work full-time as a research engineer for Stevens Institute of Technology and [more]

I have been using MATLAB for my research to control the robots in my lab and simulate path planning algorithms for them. MATLAB is a helpful tool to use for image processing part of my research as well. I have had experience with it to communicate with an Arduino based robot shield for a real time control. I am a PhD. student at Rutgers Engineering School and have been using and teaching math-related, especially Calculus, courses for the last four years at school. I have had high teaching evaluation scores from my students and can provide any feedback if requested if anyone want to learn more [more]

I use Matlab every day for advanced research in machine learning and optimization applications. I am an expert on a variety of Matlab toolboxes and efficient vectorized coding. One episode of understanding is what stands between a student and success in math. It builds confidence. A good tutor can facilitate that. I strive to understand the student's strengths and bring my insights to present every problem in different angles until the student becomes confident. I have a PhD in chemical engineering and an MBA with a long career in engineering and machine learning research. I have several yea [more]

During college I interned at Rudolph Technologies during three summers where I developed applications using MATLAB. Rudolph Technologies is a company that specializes in creating machinery used in semiconductor manufacturing. For the most part these were applications that utilized JAVA Swing UI components to present, analyze, modify, and model spectroscopic reports provided by the machines. I graduated in 2014 from Allegheny College with a B.S. in Computer Science and Political Science. I graduated with a 3.2 in-major GPA. I have worked for two years as a professional programmer and am now lo [more]
