I used MATLAB extensively while studying Psychology and Cognitive Science at the graduate and undergraduate levels. I used it to write computer programs for psychological experiments, and also to analyze data collected from those experiments. I was considered one of the better MATLAB programmers in the department. I once acted as a TA for a graduate-level class in MATLAB. I have also written programs for MATLAB in my free time. I have frequently tutored MATLAB and other programming languages, such as Java and C++. Through WyzAnt, I am frequently asked for help with MATLAB. MATLAB is one of the [more]

I worked with MATLAB extensively while studying Electrical Engineering in college. MATLAB was used in multiple Digital Signal Processing classes. I also developed a video compression program in MATLAB for a video processing elective. I am only accepting students for online lessons at this time. Teaching mathematics, I aim to convey to my students the thrill of discovery that comes with true understanding. To do mathematics effectively is to learn actively, through some degree of struggle and trial-and-error. Otherwise, mathematics remains a disjointed jumble of intimidating facts, easily for [more]

I taught a course in MATLAB programming for Scientific Computing several times. Most of the Optimization courses I taught for more than 20 years required students to submit computational projects written in MATLAB. Together with a student of mine, I developed GNUOflox, an open source teaching tool for Network Flows, completely written in MATLAB/Octave. I'm a college professor with 25+ years of experience teaching mathematics and computer programming. My favorite subjects include precalculus, calculus, linear algebra, optimization and numerical analysis. I believe the only way to learn mathe [more]

I have over 4 years of Matlab and Simulink experience. Much of my experience comes from coursework for Electrical Engineering classes, all the way up to my senior capstone courses. I can be especially helpful with the DSP, Image Processing, and Control System libraries as those topics cover most of my emphasis. Hi, I'm Justin! I recently graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. As an engineering major, although the math involved is difficult at times, it was always interesting to me. I always like to find patterns and ways to ap [more]

My educational background in Math & Engineering has given me an exceptional understanding of MATLAB. I was taking two-semester class in MATLAB and its applications in Algebra and Calculus. I am specialized in route planning algorithms which was the main subject of both my master's and bachelor's thesis (programmed in MATLAB), skilled in optimization of Markowitz portfolio with minimum risk method (programmed in MATLAB), deflation models (programmed in MATLAB). I work as a Teaching Associate on various Math subjects on California State University San Marcos and I have Master's in Industrial En [more]

I taught VLSI Design and Programming using MATLAB Classes at the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown PA for two Semesters in Years 2011-2012. Also, I have completed more than a dozen projects related to Integrated Circuit Design and Production for Commercial and Military Applications while I was employed with Big blue corporations, Texas Instruments, Motorola/IBM, HP and Broadcom. I have successfully tutored my student, a manager at Qualcomm Jim Oates for developing a MATLAB model about communication channel. [more]

I am an Electrical Engineering. MATLAB is one of the necessary tools in this field. I have used MATLAB since I studied at university. I have developed a lot of codes under MATLAB. Also, I am familiar with the Simulink part of MATLAB. I have taught MATLAB to some students who did not have any background in programming, and helped them to conduct their projects. I am a PhD Student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC Irvine. As a graduate student, I am working as a teacher assistant, and teaching many courses to undergraduate and graduate students. I had lecture classes in UCI with C, C [more]

I have been working with MATLAB and C++ together for several years now. I also used MATLAB in my graduate math classes. I have been teaching both accounting and computer science at Palomar College part time since 2002. I also have a BS in Math, a California Single Subject Math Teaching Credential and will be earning an MA in Math Teaching by the end of 2012. I have been tutoring math and other subjects since 2004. HOWEVER: please understand that I am not here to do your homework for you. You must attempt the work before asking me for help.... [more]
