Having taken Master's courses in Chemical Engineering at NYU, I have implemented MATLAB to solve many engineering problems over the past 5 years. I have also been a tutor at NYU for the past 5 years so I understand that not everyone has an affinity for coding languages. How is life treating you? I am Valmiki, lover of the science. I just graduated with my Master's in Chemical Engineering from New York University. I have been tutoring professionally for 6 years, but I've always enjoyed helping my peers. I believe we have only gotten as far as we have because we had someone to pass on their kno [more]

For 5 semesters I was a Teaching Assistant for Cornell's Introduction to MATLAB course, which I took myself as a freshman. That course taught applications ranging from introductory topics (scripts, functions, conditional statements, for/while loops, vector/matrix operations) to more advanced material (image/video/sound processing, text file processing, recursion, sorting and searching algorithms, object oriented programming). As a TA I regularly interacted with students during computer lab sessions and during office hours to provide individual assistance. I later took advanced courses on MATL [more]

I am using Matlab extensively for my thesis for a master's degree in math. I have been using it for about two years as part of my math studies. I was a programmer for many years before returning to school. I can help you with all of the basics of Matlab. I am capable of understanding the documentation (which is a bit cryptic, because it's written in math equations using math terminology), so I can quickly learn anything you need. I can even teach you how to understand the Matlab environment and docs so you learn more about Matlab on your own (so you never need to pay a tutor again!). [more]

Throughout my academic career, I have learned and utilized skills in MATLAB including the use of the software and the creation of m file programs. My most recent research has utilized MATLAB extensively in data processing and graphical presentation of that data. LET ME BE YOUR ACADEMICS PERSONAL TRAINER! OVER 20 YEARS OF PRIVATE TUTORING EXPERIENCE! YOUR ONE STOP SHOP WITH EXPERIENCE IN A WIDE VARIETY OF SUBJECTS! I completed my PhD in nuclear engineering at Penn State. I have successfully instructed physics and several engineering courses at Penn State. During my undergraduate studie [more]

I am a certified New York State certified mathematics teacher grades seven through twelve. I have taught college level classes that use my math lab as the homework piece of the math course. I have been able to give my students support with my math lab to complete their classes successfully. I have also tutored college level students in South Carolina and in New York State using my math lab with a great degree of success. This qualifies me to tutor students in this subject. I have taught all levels of Mathematics and tutored Mathematics for many years. I have taught and tutored and Mathematics [more]

I have been writing custom software for research and product development for over 20 years. Much of my work involves prototyping in MATLAB and other high level languages, eventually converted into C/C++ and other low level languages. I currently own a professional MATLAB license and have access to SCILAB and Octave (open source versions of the same). I have a PhD and a degree in Physics from University of Illinois at Chicago. I am a theoretical physicist with experience teaching at the college and university level. Despite changing from an academic path to working in industry I continue to [more]

Over the last 30 years I worked as a statistical programmer/consultant at NYU where I supported Matlab. My degrees are in math and I taught introductory tutorials in Matlab. I'm comfortable with matrix algebra and can usually work out problems. Tell me what you're trying to do in Matlab and I'll figure out how/if I can help you. Presently I'm building a weighted/sampled dataset for NYC involving the post Sandy floodplain. In 2014 I finished several projects at Weill Cornell, Med School, Public Health. I consult with degree students at NYU doing quantitative work in SAS, SPSS, Stata. I'v [more]

I have a Master's in Electrical Engineering which is math, physics, and logic intensive. I also have a BS, which required learning computer programming in general. I have more than 10 years of using Matlab in industry. I taught Matlab. I wrote complex programs and built user interfaces. I know who to use Matlab as a programming tool as well as a tool from their user interface. I have experience teaching for more than 30 years part time as I worked full time applying what I teach in industry. I have a Master's in Electrical Engineering which is math, physics, and logic intensive. I also have [more]

I completed an MIT week long MATLAB workshop in 2018. I spent the summer of 2018 working as a research intern at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory where I continued to improve my MATLAB skills and used the program to build machine learning models. Hey there! My name is Michael, and I am a Computer Science and Math student studying at Hunter College. I have a number of years of tutoring experience, and can work with a range of different subjects and programming languages: Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1 and 2, Discrete Mathematics, Statistics, C++, Java, Python, HTML, CS [more]

I have been a dedicated user of MATLAB since 2007 for most engineering applications. I received an A in a short course at Cornell on MATLAB essentials, but really began to harness the power of toolboxes through higher level application courses such as Feedback Control Systems (Fall 2011). Also have experience using Simulink through employment experience. If you are a graduate, undergraduate, or high school student in New York City seeking tutoring in mathematics or physics, look no further because I'm your guy! I graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University back in 2012, double majoring i [more]
