Energetic instructor (high school, OU, test prep) makes physics fun!

OU's Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering contains 3 classes in which I have experience tutoring: AME 2113: Statics. Practically everything in this class is within the scope of Physics 1, which is my area of expertise. It emphasizes trigonometry, vectors, and torque. AME 2213: Thermodynamics. This draws on a broad base (math, physics, general chemistry) which I can help you improve. Your instructor will tell you which problem-solving approach to use. AME 3723: Numerical Methods. I can remind you of all the calculus you've forgotten, like the difference between the First and the S [more]

Tutoring Math, Science, Writing and more

I have a degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited university, and completed courses covering Thermodynamics, Static Structures, Dynamic motion, Aerodynamic Design, Vibration Theory, Fluid Mechanics, Materials, and 3D Modelling. I attended Oklahoma Christian University to study Mechanical Engineering in 2007. In 2009, I began tutoring in an on-campus tutoring office and fell in love with tutoring. I graduated in December of 2011, but decided to continue pursuing private tutoring. I'm often asked why I don't pursue something relevant to my degree, but tutoring is what I love. Whe [more]

Engineering Graduate for Math and Science Tutoring

Since graduating with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, I have been an engineer at Tinker Air Force Base. In that time, I have also been working towards a Master's in Engineering and will complete the degree in August of 2018. I am a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma, achieving a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering. As that degree ensures I can solve complex equations and understand difficult concepts, my students (and their parents) can rest easy knowing I am giving them the proper information in an easy to learn way. Admittedly, I would not have the ability to t [more]
