I create using various types of needlework techniques such as crewel, beadwork, and embroidery in new and updated ways often in combination with other techniques. I love doing Needle felting by hand and machine in garments as a way to 'paint' with fiber, and in home dec and accessories for a new twist in the art of needlework. I have enjoyed needlework since I was a young girl. I have worked with embroidery, cross-stitch and hand-sewing of materials. I am competent in many embroidery stitches and completed a large piece which I gave to my son and daughter-in-law as a wedding gift. I have been knitting since I was four years old, I was taught by my mom who was knitting the majority of her life as well.
