I completed my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees (Applied Physics and Engineering Physics) at the Colorado School of Mines in 4 years total, plus a summer. I TAed a nuclear physics class and differential equations class while there which included content planning, grading and holding office hours! I have taught around 800 hours of science and math in the past 2 years alone and can teach all of the major topics in physics to help students master their tests, quizzes, homework and academic pursuits! I teach all levels of physics including regular, honors and AP physics I and II (algebra and calcul [more]

I'm a lifelong learner who enjoys sharing my passion for learning with others. I enjoy teaching and I'm patient with students. I focus on coaching students on the learning process as well as the content. I believe that every student is unique and work with each to find approaches to learning, studying and academic success that are attuned to their individuality. I attended a private college prep high school. I took 7 AP courses in high school and work with students taking AP classes. I ... [more]

I enjoy helping students understand Physics so they can start to see its incredible beauty. I've helped the majority of my students earn A's and several students bring their failing grades up to B's and C's. My ACT/SAT students have earned over $1,000,000 in scholarships and they consistently score 26-36 (ACT), 1200+ (SAT) & improve 2 letter grades in class. My 2016-2017 students earned ACT scores from 24 to 34 (these students earned a 34, 33, 33, 33, 30, 29, 29, 28, 27, 26, 26, 26, and 24 respectively; a range of 74th to 99th percentile) and SAT scores of 1150, 1290, 1400, 1580, and 1580. Some High school or College students take Physics. There are several different levels of difficulties. Most students think it is hard to learn. Beside all of the formulas of each concepts, how to use the formulas is the hardest part. Why use this formula, not the other one and how to use it. Students ask me these questions all the time. Analyzing the problems given is the key to answer of the questions. I always use real life example to explain what the problems mean and why the certain motion happens. I always give some similar practice to make students' understanding solid. I give a note inc [more]

I have a Bachelor of Physics with Minors in Mathematics and Computer Science. All of these resources are heavily used in physics. While I was in the Physics Department I helped Manage the Teaching Laboratories for the Undergraduate physics students. This required intimate knowledge of the Experiments. I have 4+ years of tutoring experience in physics with formal tutoring through the physics department for 2.5 of those years. I am a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor's of Science majoring in physics. In addition I minored in both mathematics and computer science. These a [more]

High school Physics teacher for the past 8 years I have a degree in Science Education from University of Minnesota - Duluth. I have been a high school teacher for 11 years, teaching Chemistry and Physics. I have been teaching Honors Chemistry and AP Chemistry for the past five years and have an average AP score for my students above a 4. I have also taught Honors Physics and Regular Physics to high school students.... [more]

I studied physics in High School and in college as both an undergraduate and graduate student. In my career I have used many of the principles of physics professionally. I am very conversant with the fundamental concepts and the mathematics that describes physical phenomena. I can also recommend excellent inexpensive reference material to support your studies. I recently received a message from the mother of one of my students: Hi Noel, hope your summer is going well. The AP test scores came out this week and E*** got a 5 on the Calculus, which is the highest score. She was very excited and [more]

I am a chiropractor currently in practice, who loves teaching and helping others learn. I have tutored friends and classmates all through my schooling with great success. For example, when going through chiropractic school, I had a friend and English was not his first language that was struggling to pass a Biochemistry class. Through tutoring and teaching him the various biochemical pathways and ways to help memorize the information, he was able to pass the class. I worked hard through school... [more]

I have completed undergraduate-level, calculus-based General Physics 1 and 2 coursework with high A's in each class. I have also taken the associated General Physics 1 and 2 labs and completed those courses with high A's. Hello! I'm a 4.00 GPA Biomedical Sciences student at the University of Colorado, and learning and teaching others are some of my greatest passions! The sciences can be challenging, but with hard work and determination, succeeding in and understanding these classes is certainly achievable. I love the sciences (especially medicine, biology, and chemistry) and plan to attend me [more]

Hello! My name is Timmy and I would like to help you with your studies. At the University of Alabama, I earned a Master of Science degree in astrophysics and a Bachelor of Science in physics with minors in astronomy and liberal arts. Other fields I took interest in includes philosophy, literature, and education. While at the University, I taught in several settings, including high school and college aged students. I have experience in front of classes at both levels, and have taught physics, ... [more]
