My BS is in physics so I have had much training in the area. Much math is required for the BS so I am also well qualified to do the math involved in the work. Last thing is that I have students who appreciate the help I give when they need it so I believe I can help in this kind of situation. I am currently a physics teacher who works with students in our school from several different backgrounds as well as students with IEP's. Subjects with which I have worked range from my specialty- physics- to other sciences, to many levels of math, to English from simple grammar exercises to writing re [more]

I have a BS in Physics from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I taught Physics labs and tutored for North Carolina State University. I love Physics. I'm a former NC State graduate student who had to leave school for family reasons. However, I've never stopped loving physics. I used to teach several physics lab classes and tutored in the tutorial center on campus several hours a week. I have a Bachelor's in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Missouri as well as a Minor in Mathematics. While I was an undergrad I did a lot of hands-on physics research with different labs on campus, r [more]

I have an AAS in Electrical Engineering, a BA in Psychology and 27 graduate credits in Psychology. I have taught post-secondary science and math. As a substitute secondary school teacher I taught math, science and language. I have tutored college students in science and math as well as k-6 students in math and reading. I enjoy teaching and take pride in making the difficult easy. I am thrilled when I help create success in others.... [more]

I am a PhD student at NCSU studying Nuclear Engineering, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. I am married without kids, with 2 chihuahua mix dogs, and practice horticulture in my spare time. While doing my undergrad degree I frequently tutored underclassmen and peers as a teachers assistant, supplemental calculus instructor, and through leading study groups. I got great satisfaction out of helping students understand whatever material was in question. In tutoring success isn't measured ... [more]

I have a Masters degree in physics from the University of Oxford and have tutored on the subject at the high school and college levels. A physicist by training, I completed my master's of physics specializing in biological and condensed matter physics before undertaking research in the life sciences, spanning the fields of materials science, biochemistry and engineering science. I have since taught mathematics at high school and tutored mathematics and physics from high school to undergraduate level. As a teacher I was responsible for teaching students who struggled more with mathematics. My [more]

I have Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering and I am currently pursuing a Masters in Electrical Engineering. My current GPA is 3.93. During my undergraduate study I was part of academic team in the students? association where I organized tutorials to assist students in courses like algebra, calculus, differentiation, statistics, and power systems related courses. I recorded significant success rate in terms of students? performance ? 80% of the students I tutored made an average grade... [more]
