Physics is a course I particularly enjoy tutoring. The biggest problem I've noticed with students who come to me for Physics is a lack of firm grasp on its very basic and fundamental concepts. Physics is not like Calculus: you can't just get by with knowing a few techniques of integration and differentiation; you really have to be well grounded in the most basic concepts, you have to start from the very root of it. I tend to have a lot of Physics students who are good in Math but terrible in Physics because they either never had the strong foundation in the basic principles of Physics or they [more]

As a third year Electrical Engineering student, I am extremely familiar with Algebra-based Physics as well as Calculus-based Physics. I have received A's in both Algebra-based Physics I and II as well as Physics for Scientists and Engineers I. My name is Jasmine G., and my tutoring style is pretty direct. For the past three years, I had been volunteer tutoring for subjects like Pre-Calculus, Algebra I and II, Trigonometry, and Geometry. I've been making sure that all concepts are visited and mastered through solving problems and that every step involved in obtaining an answer is completely com [more]
