I have taught all levels of Physics and math offered in high school and junior college. Hi, I am a person who loves helping students understand Physics and Math and have been doing this for 50 years at both the high school and Junior college level. I have taught all levels of Physics and Math courses at these two type of schools. I may be old in years but I still love working with kids because they keep me feeling young and helping them is what I am all about. I have taught all high school and junior college math classes and have always had great results. I have always had... [more]

I am licensed in Physics. I teach and have tutored Physics. Furthermore, Physics was one of my majors in college. As a double major in Mathematics and Physics as an undergraduate, I continued to enjoy the connections between the two fields of study I explored as a high school student. Helping students to see the beauty in nature as they solidify their understanding is a joyous experience in itself. The confidence students gain as the holes in their understanding are filled, gives students their own motivation to study the subject. Having students begin to ask their own questions due to th [more]

Hi, I'm Evan! I studied actuarial science and got my bachelor's degree at FSU, and in the pursuit of a second degree I started tutoring professionally in March. I've been helping fellow students through shared classes since Algebra 2 in high school, worked hourly with students at Eastern Florida State College, and I currently tutor all levels of math and teach kids' coding. To say a bit about me personally, I teach the importance of reading by way of example, and I take care of an old rescu... [more]

I am a Certified Secondary Math Teacher with an M.Ed. I have had teaching experience spanning 10 years of combined teaching and tutoring in science, technology and math. My tutoring experience includes having trained with and tutored standardized test prep for both Princeton Review and Kaplan. Most students struggling in mathematics tend to have holes in their fundamental understanding of concepts taught earlier in the year or in prior years. Given my experience teaching math at all lev... You're probably trying to find a tutor who stands out from the rest. You're looking for someone who knows what she's teaching. In high school Abigail earned the National Merit scholarship through her exemplary SAT scores. She then went on to graduate from the Georgia Tech with a degree in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Economics. She went through college at an accelerated pace of 3 years instead of 4, while maintaining her HOPE scholarship. She even studied abroad in Ireland during tho... [more]

I just had a College Physics client this past summer and he ended up with a B in the course. I am going to keep it simple. My tutoring business is all about showing the step-by-step process for solving any kind of mathematics problems. I have 10+ years of experience tutoring K-12 grade and university level students. I noticed over time that many teachers and professors do not show all necessary steps in math problems. I also noticed that a lot of teachers and professors do not have the patience to show all of the steps. Why is that? As the saying goes: "You should know this already".... [more]

Over 15 years experience tutoring that different language called math. You learned this language years ago in school. Since very few working adults use this language on a daily basis, they forget it just as anyone who's learned a foreign language will forget after years of not using it. My BS is in Electrical Engineering, which required a vast amount of high-level math and physics. Your efforts to get help means that you'll pass whatever test or goal you're striving for. It is not easy... [more]

I am currently a professor of commercial space operations and astrophysics at the university level. Depending on the level of need for the student I have the ability to use analogies to explain complex subjects. For example, when explaining the PP fusion cycle of a G class star (or the CNO cycle of an O class star) I am able to analogize to the level of the student. A freshman college student I would explain the PP cycle this way. Please understand it would be far more detailed and I would get feedback from the student to determine understanding. The PP (proton-proton) fusion cycle is on [more]

I teach Physics, Mathematics, and Japanese. I have Bachelors and Masters degrees in Physics. I am currently in a Ph.D program at University of Colorado. I have teaching experience in Undergraduate level physics, high school physics and math, and middle school science and math. In addition, you can enjoy learning Japanese with me.... [more]

Hello my name is Bejan, I have been tutoring independently for over a year now. I mostly focused on computer programming (C, C++, etc). As such I very much enjoy when people gain a new level of independence while writing their software. Nearly all of my tutoring experience has been in the online space, therefore I am very comfortable finding ways to convey information through a virtual interface. I have a degree in computer programming and several certificates but currently I am a physics... [more]
