I have taken coursework such as Mechanics; Thermodynamics; Waves, Optics, and Relativity; and Electromagnetism. I received a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Astrophysics May of 2018. Hello my name is Nick, in May of 2018 I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a B.S. in Astrophysics as well as a B.S. in Physics. I have been educated and trained to understand a broad range of mathematical and physical concepts and I excel at explaining such concepts. I've been told I have a way of simplifying subject matter in way that is easy to understand and learn, even for those not conf [more]

Hi, I'm Bjorn, a recent PhD in mathematics. I have extensive (5+ years) experience tutoring in both mathematics and physics at the high school and university levels. Unlike most tutors, I only take on students in subjects that are closely related to my areas of academic specialization and experience. I hold a PhD in mathematics. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in mathematics. I have taught both at the university level in large undergraduate lectures and tutored students 1 on 1. Through this... [more]

Almost 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring mathematics (US & Singapore mathematics curriculum) and other subjects. I taught at an IB world school in Jakarta, Indonesia and had several IB and Singapore mathematics curriculum training. I hold Minnesota teaching license for 5-12 Secondary Mathematics. Currently I am a graduate student at Augsburg College pursuing my Masters of Education degree. My philosophy is every student can learn. My passion is to help students to lessen and/or el... [more]

I have been a college professor for over 5 years. I am skilled at helping students through problems, getting caught up, or deepening their understanding. Physics is an equation driven subject. By focusing on the foundation of each equation, a student can understand how to manipulate the problem and find the path to the correct answer. I am a former Chemistry Professor. I have worked for: University of Wisconsin - River Falls, Minneapolis Community and Technical College, and St. Thomas University. I have a Master's in Chemistry and did work towards my Ph.D. specializing in Organic Chemistr [more]

I have tutored and taught physics for over 15 years. I have a graduate degree in physics and have worked professionally as a physicist at 3M in the corporate research labs and at the university of Wisconsin--Stout as an adjunct professor. My areas of research include condensed matter physics, optical physics and more recently research and development of unique fuel efficiency systems to improve gas mileage for automobiles. I have over 15 years experience teaching physics. I enjoy teaching physics and helping students get an appreciati... [more]

I made A's in both regular and an extra (honors) class in physics in high school. I made A's in college physics, and I went on to obtain my doctorate in nuclear engineering, an add-on to physics. In thirteen years working for the government, I lived cheek-by-jowl with physics concepts, and not a day passed that I did not work with some concept out of this subject. Since I left this work, I have tutored several students in physics, and even applied to work as a post-doctoral student for UNL. Working with me has buoyed the confidence of physics students, and they went on to make good grad [more]

I work full-time as an electronics engineer and I attend graduate school part-time for my Master's Degree (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering with a graduate minor in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University (ISU). As an undergraduate, I attended Northern Illinois University (NIU) where I graduated in May 2016 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with two minors in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics and an undergraduate Certificate of Study in Nanotechnology. From my time at NIU... [more]

I have been teaching for 5 years in chemistry, math, and some physics. I have tutored for 7 years in all different levels and subjects. Hello and welcome to my profile, A little about me. I have been teaching since 2011 and tutoring since before that. I have helped in middle school math up to college chemistry. I am currently a science teacher at a High School. I have taught 7th grade math, 9th grade physical science, high school chemistry, and high school physics. I have a love for mathematics and have always enjoyed teaching students the power of math. I look forward to getting to know you ( [more]

As a physics major and a physics researcher at USF, I know my physics. I have also been helping students of all ages understand physical concepts and physics problems since I have started my career at USF. With that, I should be able to help you with any physics problem you may have! I firmly believe that one of the most important things in life is getting a quality education. A good education can lead to greater opportunities and some of the best opportunities are in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields. However, these fields also pose many challenges to today's student [more]

I am a certified teacher living in Rockford with three master's degrees; one in Aerospace Engineering, one in mathematics, and one in theology. I was a practicing Aerospace Engineer for five years before I began teaching numerous math and science courses for the past ten years at a Christian secondary school in Maple Grove. I am competent and able to teach any high school math or science course and most collegiate math, physics, and engineering courses. My specialty is AP Calculus AB and B... [more]
