I have a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in mathematics with extensive work in Calculus (the math behind Physics). My university studies included extensive Physics work and work in related subjects (in which I did well). I have 35 plus years of engineering experience involving the use of math and science on a daily basis. I have lots of experience teaching and mentoring, both personally (I'm the father of 7 children, have served as a Boy Scout leader for over 20 years, and have served as a church youth teacher and leader of age 6 to 18 year olds for many years) and pro [more]

I have a passion for math and science, but even the greatest breakthrough in science is worthless without clear, engaging writing to convey the information to the world at large. I am pursuing a mechanical engineering degree, though I'm cross-training in computer programing (because it's useful in our increasingly interconnected world) and writing (because eloquence in presentation is an oft-neglected attribute.) I specialize in math, going up to Algebra II and trigonometry, and English, esp... [more]

I have tutored physics and mathematics for 7 years, as well as taught physics at Washington University for 4 years. I am currently an Associate Professor at Shoreline Community College where I teach Physics and Astronomy.... [more]

I understand that so many times, what separates exceptional students from other students isn't intelligence or aptitude, but the passion to learn. It has been my life's work to help others to gain that desire by meeting them at their level, and helping them with the way forward to success. I have always loved teaching in many different capacities. From college age on, I have tutored young people on many different subjects ranging from math to music. For over 20 years, I have instructed pil... [more]

I'm a college student currently studying Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and graduated from Green River College with Associate of Science in Aeronautical Engineering with high honor. While studying at the Green River Collge, I was employed there for about two years for Mathematics division as a Math Learning Center tutor, helping students with any problem in their math classes (I also helped them with Physics and Engineering classes); and as a grader, grade student's homework as assigne...
