I have my teachers license in the areas the Praxis test challenges candidates to become a teacher. In addition I have my Masters degree in Special Education so I understand how to explain material in various ways which is another key component of the test. I use the ETS Praxis study guide and have found others who use different materials were not as successful (or not successful at all), therefore, I would require that my student also purchase a copy for their use. It can be purchased online or at any major bookstore. [more]

I am very familiar with the Praxis I test because a few years ago I spent several weeks thoroughly preparing for this test to get certified in TESOL in New Hampshire. I have been teaching English to speakers of other languages since I was a college student studying English linguistics, literature, and TESOL. In 2008, I got my bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Teaching at N. Novgorod State Linguistic University and immigrated to the USA. Soon after, I enro [more]
