I tutored after school for my last two years in High School. While I was attending University of Central Florida, I also did online tutoring specifically for math subjects. I know that I can teach this difficult subject in the simplest ways. Everyone I have helped told me they were surprised at how easy it is once I explain it to them. I love that I am able to teach a subject that seems difficult to most. I really want to get back into tutoring partly because I know the best way to lea... [more]

I am adept at Algebra 1 which has helped me to attain my Master of Science degree as a Nurse Practitioner. I graduated both undergraduate school and graduate school Magna Cum Laude. I can help make your math classes more understandable thus helping you to manage the other courses you face in school a bit easier. After becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) on a cardiac telemetry unit in 1992, I continued my education attaining my Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing and subsequently my Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in 1999, achieving numerous awards and graduating Magna [more]

I taught Prealgebra CSN and High school - Eldorado . The nice thing about Prealgebra is that most students are not afraid to ask questions. They want to understand the next class. The are still trying to determine how they learn learn. Many times at this point, they are in a class with students with similar abilities instead of grouped by age. Students that get these basic facts, usually do well in Algebra + . Studies have shown and my experience, that the students that get behind get discouraged. Intervene now with students that do not know their basic facts; multiplication, adding [more]

Greetings, Personal development is a process that occurs at every stage of one?s life and allows one to realize a potential that arises within the heart of our boldest dreams. Tutoring offers a profound level of engagement, wherein both the student and the tutor define and refine goals along their pursuit of excellence. I agree with Howard Gardner?s conclusion that there are multiple learning styles, yet seek to define an accurate means to appeal to a student?s learning style in a man... [more]

I have taught math and financial planning for 14 years at the University of Phoenix at Las Vegas. I love to teach and tutor students in Math. The process of learning the necessary steps of solving proble [more]
