I have taught pre-algebra leading up to algebra II and than calculus. My students do quite well at their school courses as well as standardized test. Students who are good at straight numbers quite often stumble when it comes to manipulating symbols. It takes a good teacher and practice by the student to become comfortable with symbols. My name is Vijay and I have a bachelor?s degree in electrical engineering and a PhD in control systems. I am semi-retired so I tutor students in mathematics and physics. Students preparing for the ACT, SAT and AP courses require skills to pick apart a proble [more]

Tutoring is a way for me to do what I love while staying at home with my son. It was not until college that I really understood or liked math. My college algebra teacher made everything "click." Since then I hav... [more]

I have been tutoring freelance for about two years with High School students in the Little Rock area. I love working with students and watching them grow and learn. My goal is to see your student gain confidence in themselves and their skills with a noticeable increase in grades and understanding.
