Prealgebra was one of my favorite classes to teach. I enjoyed working one-on-one with each child. I had students in prealgebra as early as 6th grade. Each student progressed at their own pace; therefore, I worked with the advanced students when they were ready for prealgebra. I've taught in large schools, and one-room schools.
