My precalculus teacher did such a good job teaching me my junior year that I went into calculus, wanting to learn more. Thanks to her, I still have a full understanding of how to use my calculator to graph anything and find its roots, asymptotes, and max/minima on paper at the same time. These concepts have stayed with me all these years and I want to pass them onto high school students so they master it as well. As an engineering program manager for 15 years, and with an MIT degree to boot, I know my fair share of math and science, having taken Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology AP II. [more]
